I laughed a little.

Hey, I like your style! In the throws of adversity you look on the side I always do when you said "I could still kick his ****" I love it! Hopefully you don't take offense, I just laughed at that remark. The rest however is typical I was in the US Army, not much different. They call it a profile, yo...

My chronicle of a battle.

If interested my chronicle is listed under Phamaceutical Therapy Discussions.

It's very long however, I am writing a book and these exerpts are some of my worst moments with the affliction, the medical field and my own self.

My Chronicle of a two week battle.

Although long, this is my journey through hell. The Monster Within Four twenty in the am, been tossing all night. My arms and legs are the worse with the left side predominately effected. A lot of people may say "I toss and turn, what makes you any different from any other insomniac?" The difference...

Thank God for this forum

This is my first day on this site. While sorrow fills my heart with the fact that others are afflicted with this scourge, I am rejoicing that I am not alone. Thank you Brady and Jan. I can't tell you in words how much your instant respose made me feel welcome. I know in this world there are givers a...

Thanks

I can't believe how good it feels to know I am not alone. Now, I knew I wasn't alone, however, I guess in my foogged brain I never thought of looking on the net for others. Thank you so much for your words. I have been reading the words of others, and to be frank---crying uncontrollably. I feel so m...

Thanks

Your words were soothing to me. I have found myself sobbing over everything and I am a 5' 11" ex kick boxer. I say that to say the sleep deprevation, coupled with the lack of concern with some docs has me at the breaking point. I did feel as if I was going to be the "Good Patient" and get of the opi...

request for help

Hello, I am new also. However, I am far from new to RLS, I am 46 and had the disease for as long as I remember. I hear Mirapex is doing well with alot of sufferers, for me, it was a disaster. I am taking Lortab and have been for 6 to 7 years. I don't recommend opiads due to the addictive nature. How...

The monster within

I am 46 and been living with what I call the monster within for as long as I can remember. How many times can a person tell a doctor he does not have sleep apnea----duh!. I am at the worst I have ever been. My Lortab seems to help but unless I increase the dosage even it's effectiveness is limited. ...
