Re: Treatment for Refractory RLS at Quality Care Clinics

My guess is that there are many factors at play - and most of them not in your or my favor! I guess is that it is decided individually at the clinics or is covered by state law, which the Foundation would have no way of knowing. We know, from our members here, that most of the places that used to pr...

Re: Sleeping Arrangements

This, to me, is the worst that this disease can do - hurt our closest relationships! I did what he did for awhile, but my partner, like you, was determined to find a way we could sleep together. And I am glad he persisted. As Steve noted, the split king is one answer. And, if I remember correctly, t...

Re: venlafaxine withdrawal

Hugs to you, Wild6Flower16. While likely nothing to the extent you are familiar with, have had periods of depression and it is so insidious and permeates through everything. As Beth said, it is temporary....so important to remind yourself since it never feels temporary!

Re: Happy New Year! & checking in

Thanks all. I got the job!!! Social worker working with older adults. It will be a few months before I can start...healthcare credentialing process is lengthy. So relieved...my job situation the past 3 years has been tenuous and had horrible health coverage. Tenuous because job was full time perman...

Re: Methadone to Suboxone

I have been taking methadone for over 10 years. About five-seven years ago, I started experiencing depression. The first time I found out I had very low vitamin D levels (8, if I remember correctly). Improving that improved my mood some, but in retrospect, not to normal. For the next five years, I w...

Re: tapering off ropinirole

I didn't experience any hellish problems until my dose was very low. They were mild. It wasn't until I stopped them that it became hell.

Who knows - chance or because of what you are taking. Either way, great to have a few days of no symptoms!

Good for you! I cannot help but think about all the people who wouldn't have the ability - for whatever reasons - to do what you are doing.

Rob Your original posts were in the Just Joined forum and this forum. I moved the ones in Just Joined to this one. You did not post anything in Prescription. Beth You might inquire with ViewsAskew about the matter. I did move it and Rob and I PMed about it. It is not a pharmaceutical substance. Oth...

Re: New Doctor

That is wonderful news, Deb! To hear that doctors really listened? That in an of itself is truly wonderful. Now, let's hope they can get to the bottom of this. I am not certain that there is something else going on with you - I am not a doctor and have little knowledge of such things. I am relativel...

Re: Potassium Citrate

Fascinating and kind of exciting that it works for you. Please keep us posted. I am not impressed with the journal publisher's reputation (see https://www.the-scientist.com/?articles.view/articleNo/49071/title/Opinion--Why-I-Published-in-a-Predatory-Journal/), nor with the article itself, but if it...
