Yankiwi - I tend to like to shock anyone who is being sanctimonious about anything. And, i hope anytime I get sanctimonious that someone will shock me, lol.

Re: OH. NO...methadone refill date falls during vacation

To follow up on what Steve said...those who write about addiction - including medical personnel - often confuse addiction and dependence. They make it sounds as if ANYONE who takes these drugs is an addict! We are NOT. It is one of those topics that makes me get my panties in a twist, lol. When I he...

Re: Gabapentin vs Horizant

Sounds like it was quite a search to find your doctor and to sort out your medications. It amazes me when I read the news on all these dr's prescribing opiods, I'm thinking, "Where are they?" The people who need them, can't get them, and the people who abuse them, get all they want. I hav...

Re: OH. NO...methadone refill date falls during vacation

So crazy. And, thank you for that very important piece of info!. You must be relieved that you could get it resolved. I highly recommend that anyone taking ANY controlled drug to do whatever you can to create a small stash. From losing them on a trip to a stolen purse to vacations, things happen tha...

Re: Good sleep results with Belsomra

I want to clarify my original post about Belsomra. I do not use this drug to deal with the urge to move my legs, I use it instead to help me get into the mental relaxed state required to sleep. I use other drugs for the leg movement problem. For me correcting one without correcting the other is jus...

It is SO hard, Christy.

Just out of curiosity, who did you use in the Chicago area? I have yet to find anyone here. Am moving to CA shortly, but am curious who you found here.

Re: Two hours of sleep

That's one of my biggest challenges every day...drinking water is the last thing I have interest in but know it's so important (if it was coffee, every last drop would be gone and I'd be wondering where it all went). Straws and setting out the entire amount you need to drink for the day really does...

I poured two liter bottles in the morning, one for him and one for me. That way we couldn't forget to drink it.

I keep water bottles in every room, lol.

Welcome, Karrierac

Hi, Karrierac. Sounds as if this is a very rough time - 9 months pregnant and with horrible RLS. Please let us know - in a new topic - what you are doing and how it is going. We may have some ideas. Several of us have gone through pregnancy and know how hard it is.
