Re: Moving Mayhem

Oh, don't even get me started on shoes!!!! I have a high arch, a high instep, and a double wide foot. Grrrrrr.....there isn't a brand of shoes under $300 that I haven't tried.

I do similar to Steve. I split into 2 or 3 doses and take one of the doses ridiculously early!

Re: Scratch and Carry Technique

Beth, I had a visceral reaction to your description, lol. That horrible increase that occurs when you do something physical such as this technique is like nothing else and I immediately remembered it. ~shudder~

Re: Another year of relief

I want food to work...I do think we need to be careful teasing this out. We hear positive things from so few of us, percentage wise. We have no idea if others simply do not try it or if it hasn't worked for them...or if those who believe in diet think it works better than it does!

Haha! My guess is that most of us who hang around here are nerdy in general, lol.

Re: Moving Mayhem

Yeah, tried the split, too. And cortisone, lol. Hates that splint!!!! And, it didn't seem to help. But, I likely did not give it 2-3 months, probably only 1-2.

Re: Another year of relief

Interesting, Beth. My husband has celiac - haven't followed the research as much lately... What I recall is that they know from blood tests that it is now 1 in 100 (average) in Europe and the US. Ireland, IIRC, is 1 in 70. Italy is also higher than average. They also know that - through testing stor...

Re: Moving Mayhem

Plantar Fascitis - coincidentally, yesterday I saw on the big on-line shop a pack of 4 socks (£12 approx) that are recommended for this condition. "You can walk again" --- apparently !! The reviews were very positive --- Just saying..... Yeah - just as with RLS, there are many "cures...

Re: RLS, Depression and Anti-depressants

excellent post! I've been wanting and REALLY needing to get on either an anti-anxiety or antidepressant, but I'm so concerned that it will activate my RLS. For the past month, I have really been suffering something terrible. Something has to give. I waited too long, I think, the last time the depre...

Re: What Severe RLS is Like

I'll be watching with interest to see how you cope tonight. 7 hours and 50 minutes sleep even though I woke at 4:30 am. I feel a little fidgety, it must be right at the edge of the lowest dose of Suboxone I can take at 2 mg. I feel good though now if this sleep continues for next week I should be f...

Re: Moving Mayhem

Yikes am I ever tired. The plantar fasciitis is in BOTH feet right now and the running up and down stairs (both places) and being on my feet for about 12 hours - am not sure I can stand and walk now that I am sitting. The knee (with the tendon issues) is complaining mightily. I think the worst is ov...

Re: Moving Mayhem

Movers are here. I managed a few hours sleep on an air mattress (our bed is in pieces). Will be sleeping on said mattress for a week; we ordered a new mattress for the condo since it is a rental and we wanted to start with everything clean and encased in allergen protective covers (as well as bedbug...

YAY! That is so good to hear. To have the doggie better must be such a mood lifter. Cuddles from a dog are pretty darn nice. My experience...and not asked for, so do ignore if not helpful...I try to remember the feeling of when this happens - of when I turn the corner. If I work hard, I can recall t...

Re: Getting off of Requip due to augmentation

Sleepdancer2, How long did it take for you to get thru the withdrawal and augmentation? My dr. decreased my dose of Requip to 1mg from 3mg (at one point I was on 6mg!!) I'm hoping I get thru the augmentation while my dr is still willing and able to write for the Oxycontin. I've been off Requip for ...
