Re: augmentation with lyrica?

I found that when I took that class of drugs, that I had tolerance relatively quickly. A couple weeks, I needed more. A couple more weeks, I needed more. A couple more weeks...well, you get the picture. That was long ago for me. I stopped taking it after the third increase.

Re: New to Forum Need advice about Ropinirole

29 is VERY LOW for people with RLS!!!! Most of the experts suggest at least 75, if not 100 as a minimum. I cannot say about the tingling...but I don't have tingling. Are you familiar with the 4 criteria? Check these out and see what you think: You have an urge to move your legs usually accompanied b...

Re: Excellent article on opioids

This article (and the linked articles as well) support everything I told my pain medicine doctor. However, that didn't stop him from cutting off my narcotics (two hydrocodone 5-325 and one ms-contin per day). I'd been taking this dosage safely for over ten years. I was told that I "don't have ...

Re: scary night time experience

That is scary, isn't it? It happens to me when my meds are not enough to cover the symptoms, but the medications I take make my very sleepy/tired. It is like a dream state (nightmare, more like it) and I am sort of aware, but it takes a LONG time for me to wake up. I can tell I am kicking and moving...

Re: New to Forum Need advice about Ropinirole

Hello and welcome. Tough situation! This is my opinion - based on what we know, it is not a good idea to use any drugs in this class, including ropinerole, until at least your serum ferritin is high enough (though there is debate about what is high enough). Some doctors now believe you should never ...

Re: QUALITY CENTERS: HOW DOES IT WORK

Hi James7. I have not used one, but I see one of the docs who has worked with the Foundation, so I would think it would be similar. I knew him first because of my work with the Foundation and initially he worked with my PCP, so not sure my experience would be considered normal. I eventually flew the...

Re: Very Tired

Deb - do consider there are lots of ADs. You know that, you were a nurse. Just a reminder that a different one might not cause weight gain. I gained SO fast on one of them, but this last one? I didn't gain at all. Of course, it is one of the newer ones and it cost and arm and a leg. Sometimes seems ...
