I was just reading through these last posts. Have you found out anything from your sleep center, Jitterlegs? Could your pain be from sleep deprivation? I think mine was, it is so much better since I have been sleeping! This is so complicated and I think we somehow think its just something we have to...

I was always under the impression that more mirapex would result in side effects & augmentation. What do you take? I have been B12 dificient in the past, took shots, for a short time (3 wks), I had no symptoms, but then rls started again. I also have a hard time taking iron but try. I slept agai...

Not enough Mirapex

I just saw a sleep specialist last week because I was having so much trouble w/ rls plus had developed alot of pain- everywhere, not just legs. I was on 1 1/2 of .25 Mirapex at 5:30. The specialist thought I was not on a high enough dose for the rls & was not experiencing augmentation (as I susp...

Wow! this all sounds so familiar! I have been having trouble lately with alot of pain which I didn't have before. I tried to go cold turkey off mirapex, 1.5 pills of .25 every night. That was a huge mistake. About 2am I gave in & took it. I wanted to see if I still had the night time pain withou...

Thanks

Thanks folks, so far, so good with the absence of the Prilosec, a little heart burn that I have been treating with tums instead. Will wait another week & maybe try the Prilosec again to see if there is a relationship. Thank you for writing!

B 12 levels

About 6 years ago I read something about low Vitamin B12 levels contributing to rls. So I had mine checked & it was low. So I began taking B12 shots, 1/day for about a week & 1/week after that. For about 2-3 weeks I had no rls! I thought I had discovered the cure!! But after about 3 weeks it...
