Re: Who on here has both RLS/WED and PLMD?

I don't think I'm augmenting. No I haven't tried a TENS unit. I can ask my doctor about it. I have sort of given up. I stay home most of the time. And I used to be very active. Its always something new happening to me. This morning I took a shower and discovered a huge bruise on my stomach. About th...

Re: Who on here has both RLS/WED and PLMD?

ViewsAskew and Sleepdancer: thank you so much for your input. I did have one sleep study without the mask and went back for one with the mask. They increased my pressure on my CPAP from 6 to9. And I have had my ferritin level checked, haven't got the results yet. Last time I had it checked it was 40...

Haven't been here in awhile

Hi everyone: Haven't been on here for a while. Still suffering though. I'm trying to get off the Mirapex. I've decreased my dose from 0.25 mg. 2 times a day to 0.125 twice a day. Don't hardly sleep. Pain is bad. Forget about finding a doctor to help me through this. There are none in this area....Th...

Re: Pramipexole Problems

I looked her up and one of the ailments listed that she treats is RLS. Even so, she may not know much about it, as I have found out before. I will print the document you sent me. Thanks alot.

Re: Pramipexole Problems

I take Vicodin and have for a long time (as needed) I only take it when I am having a difficult time and I also take Mirapex. Which I am starting to wean off it. Dr. B. says that he has many patients who take an opiate and never have any trouble with it. Its when you abuse the drug that you can beco...

Re: Venting!

Efall.....Just had a brilliant idea....By the way, there have been times when I have the same complaints you do...so my idea is this (it could never happen but) all people with WED/RLS. Should be put in the same location, hospital, town, nursing home etc...We understand each other, no one else does. ...

Re: Pramipexole Problems

I am so discussed with doctors, especially those that prescribe DA's (Mirapex, Requip, Neuro Patch.) They don't even know anything about these drugs. I don't think I will ever take another drug. I wish I could go to Dr. B or Dr. Early, But I am 79 and can't travel very well. I more or less have to d...
