Headachs do not seem to be a factor for me.
Although I have had plenty headaches during my many years. Headaches do no seem to be related. It used to be that I had many more headaches than RLS episodes. Now, I have more RLS than headaches. How are you? Have you found prescriptions that help you? I would rather not take medications, but this i...

Did you think that you could pin point somethings that made RLS worse, then realize that it was just as bad with or without. I have a couple of times. For example, alchohol, thought that made it worse, then thought it didn't. I have heard about the cold medicines, I can't remember if it was the anih...

The last thing that I want to do is take medication...even sleep meds...I have just wanted them (medical industry) to fix it....to stop the Restless Leg.... does anyone know for sure...is there any real investigation as to why there is such a thing as RLS...or do they just try to find medication to ...

Do you think "that" was good news!
I just got the call, and the doctors office has my results from the initial sleep study. If I do not have sleep apnea, then Requip, when I was taking the 1 mg was responsible for what was going on. Right now, I am taking .5mg, a couple of times I took the 1mg to see and I woke up trying to catch my ...

That first dosage was 1 mg Requip.....when she asked me to try it again...we kept to 0.5 mg....no problems...no sleep apnea noticed yet and my RLS w...

Headach anyone?
I just found the discussion about headaches, and wanted to put my two cents in. I have always had headaches, as well, yet sometimes they are completely gone for a while. I have only had a few migraines, the difference is amazing, to say the least. I went to Gold Country's support group meeting a cou...

Why have the Sleep Study?
Ann and Hazel, Thanks for the response. As to, "Why have a sleep study?" I went to the Gold Country's RLS support group a couple of months. The guest speaker spoke about the value of sleep study for people with RLS. Since I do not sleep well, my interest peaked. Then, after taking Requip for a coupl...

Requip side effects
I have had similar side effects. When first trying Requip, the doctor gave me the packet that slowly increased the dosage over two weeks. Great results at first, no RLS. Into the next week I had problems sleeping, something that I am sure is a form of sleep apnea, and noticed that my blood pressure ...

New to Sleep Study.
The Sleep Study, now that was interesting. My doctor had suggested that I not take my prescription Requip for the study. I took several hours to fall asleep because I was tortured by one leg, fell asleep only to wake to the other leg acting up. All I know was that I was in a deep sleep at 5:30 when ...

The older I get, the more frequent I'm haunted!
Twenty five years ago, episodes only occured during pregnancy and a long car ride. Ten years ago, I was bothered a few nights a month during long sit-down dinners. Today, most evenings between 6 and 11 pm for a few hours. Looks like there are more medications that are being considered. Currently usi...
