Zach,

The whole system is just f'ed up. I don't blame you for being mad as h***.
I don't have any advice to give you. Just know we are all hoping you get some relief soon.

I remember when the Darvocet first started working. I'm sure like all of you, you almost can't even put into words the relief from the exhaustion.

Thank you all for your concern. And of course I like your company, Susan. I've been to see him twice. He said that even without the RLS being the recommendation, I still have enough issues to work on without it. Both my regular doctor and this doctor want me to increase my Zoloft from 100 mgs. to 15...

The RLS is different because you just feel the need to move your leg around and you choose to move it around to release the tension. The PMLW is different because you cannot control it. Your legs/arms jerk without you making a conscious effort to move them. Now this is the way I have understood it--...

Chrystina, Please check with your doctor immediately. I believe it is known by the doctors that Mirapex can make you a little loopy which is dangerous. Are you on Ambien also? Just curious because I am on both Mirapex and Ambien and although I do not sleepwalk, I order all sorts of jewelry off QVC w...

Oops! Apparently, I was pretty whacked out on my Ambien when I wrote the last clue because I don't even know what the correct answer is and I wrote it!!

I love Ambien.

So I am doing a new (and easier) movie BEFORE I take my pills tonight. Here's the clue:

Neuropsychologist

My doctor wants me to see a neuropsychologist for trying not to obsess over RLS. I sat and cried in his office this morning trying to tell him what it is like to always be thinking remembering to take the meds, not running out of the meds, trying to adjust when I can sit/stand, please just cut my le...

Almost forgot--my Darvocet does nothing for my pain either. It strictly helps reduce the limb movement.

Hi Toni, I have RLS and limb movement. I also have that pain that you are talking about. Mine started in Dec. 05. Like you, my nerve conduction tests and my MRIs came out normal. My RLS doctor and the other two neurologists are all telling me that this pain is not directly associated with RLS. The p...

Liz,

I read somewhere recently that Lyrica was being used for Periodic Limb Movements successfully, BUT its side effect of sleepiness is very strong. Do you work? Could you try it for a few days or on the weekends?

Good luck,

Hi Bob, I am also a kicker and a left arm "shotput thrower". I've been known to sleep on hard wood floor just because I don't seem to kick as much. I'm with you--the worst isn't the feeling of kicking. It's the actual kicking. My doc has me on Mirapex which is slowly not working as much so he added ...

None of my doctors have suggested it either--sorry I can't be more help. I googled it though. One of the websites said they get a baseline EEG while the patient sits for two hours. I kinda giggled. Could you see all of us sitting there during a full blown attack of RLS/PLMD for two hours? If it were...
