Re: Neupro Patch

I used Neupro in late 07 to the beginning of 08. I had site application rashes, but it worked. I didn't really need the 24 hour dose, so I would remove the patch in the am. I had problems with the heat of the kitchen I worked in emitting more of the dose than it was supposed to, and it would make me...

Re: WED MEDS: LIST OF ALL YOUR WED MEDS FROM DAY 1 TO PRESEN

Wow, ok, I'll try, lol. I've had WED since I was a child. I used to 'ride my bike' in bed by moving my legs around in the air to get to sleep, diagnosed in '96. Sinemet. 6 mos, rebound/augmentation, psychological problems, bad side effects. Permax/Klonipin. 1 year, no problem with Permax as yet, but...

Reaction to Seroquel

The worst reaction I've ever had was to Seroquel. I so increased my RLS it was as though I was a puppet on a string controlled by someone with a seizure. It was one of the worst days of my life. To try to ward off the effects, I drank a pot of coffee, doubled the dose of Permax, even though it has u...

That's great Ann!

I hope to have such luck someday. Presently, about every 4-5 dose of the 10mg Methadone has me projectile vomit it out within 5-15 min. The Methadone does control the RLS, but when I'm on it, my head always feel full of pressure, kind of like a full skull sinus pressure. And the stuff doesn't make m...

New to Methadone therapy, need advice

Hello People I've been lurking lately, reading and not replying. Previously, I was taking oxycontin for RLS and pain. It wasn't very good for the pain, but dealt with the RLS. ( I can't take DA's anymore, and the Lyrica/Neurontin is ineffective) Do to some personal problems, I had to go out of state...

I do 1200mg neurontin 3 times a day for different issues. It doesn't touch my RLS or pain. Yes, 1200mg 3 times a day. I am switching to 200mg a day of Lyrica. Lilly has me on their free drug program. Thanks for the answer.

Valerie Kassl, welcome to the RLS Discussion Board! I personally have not tried that particular product, but I have an extreme case of RLS/PLMD. I have tried just about everything else out there though. I'm sure there is someone that has tried it. It may take a while to get a response. Only a few pe...

Muscle cramps are a known side effect of both Requip and Mirapex. Use the phrase "Pain in extremity" along with the drug name as a search term. Mirapex and Neupro has left me with chronic calf pain that doesn't go away.

I can relate to those posts. Only my wife understands it, but she hates it and really doesn't want to hear about it. I used to be a work-a-holic, working 12-14 hour days, 6 days a week, running around a kitchen. I then had my own business which I had to put a temendous amount of effort into. After I...

Thanks for the reply, Zach. None of the other opiods, including Ultram, have worked for me, so I am really scared that the Methadone won't work for me. It is a long titration period due to it's staying power, and I don't think I can take it. Last year was excruciating with trying all the different m...

I usually have it more in my right leg more than my left. Mine feels like the muscles are ripped across my calves. Throughout the day, my muscles grind and move. This pain is a new addition after using Mirapex and Neupro, and although I stopped them over 8 months ago. I'm on the narcotics now. So, y...
