For me - codiene does. Tylenol #3 makes mine crazy with pain. I got it in my arm so bad and I didn't sleep for a long time, and I was beating my arm against the wall. My husband had to hold me down. I hurt myself trying to make it stop hurting. I have to list tylenol #3 and codiene as allergies now.

Mine was so bad, I once went to ER at 1 am. I thought I had bone cancer. Of course, they didn't do a darn thing for me. My blood pressure, usually fine - was 180/110. That was all pain. I went to the doctor the next morning, totally exhausted and looking haggard. She gave me darvocet and I got some ...

MY RLS, when unmedicated, feels like a deep ache - like cold broken bones sometimes. It used to make me cry at night. I thought I had sciatica, because a lot of times it would burn down my leg from my hip,and my butt would hurt. I think - don't know - but I'm pretty sure I have primary RLS, but also...

I know that young children can have RLS. I think my son has it but it is annoying and not really that big a problem. He's homeschooled so his schedule is pretty flexible. We were both up late last night watching a documentary and we were both just bouncing and kicking around. It was kinda funny real...

Just my left arm! My right one NEVER does it. It can hurt really bad - and driving is terribly with my left arm.

so yes! It affects both my legs, my right butt and hip, and my left forearm and wrist.

My RLS would just go away sometimes for no reason. It went away once for a several months. I wasn't on medication back then - didn't know it was a 'disorder' and it was really just annoying sometimes. It will be interesting to see if it comes back even with the dietary change. I can't really link my...

Well, I haven't seen it, and while I am well treated with mirapex, my RLS when untreated is very painful - and a lot of the stuff I see on RLS minimizes how severe my pain is without medication. Without Mirapex, my RLS was totally disabling - it wasn't creepy crawly feelings. I had those in my twent...

I don't eat dairy products at all, never have. Still have monster RLS. It might be an allergy for you or something, and the RLS is a symptom?

I went to the chiropractor for years. Its weird, it helped headaches I was having, but it didn't ever touch the rls. Only mirapex has helped.

I am positive that mine is from my dad, but mine changed and turned into a monster after I spent about 8 months in a rocker boot. I've got severe tarsal tunnel syndrome with a lot of nerve damage in my left ankle and foot. I think they feed each other.

I found a really NEAT site about RLS research

I'd not seen this listed anywhere, so forgive me if it is. This site has a pretty extensive RLS area.

http://www.mdvu.org/

You can search on RLS. They site some clinical research that has isolated some alleles on Chromosone 12 in one family with RLS.

That particular link is here:

I didn't have any problems at all with breastfeeding, other than my son was a wiggle worm that stayed up half the night nursing. Didn't help the sleep much but actual breastfeeding - it was a great experience for me.

My family would certainly qualify as the Northern European descent - Scottish on one side, and northern Russia on the other. We are all very blonde hair/blue eyed/fair skined. In my family, it runs on the fairer side of the family - the natural blondes with pale grey blue eyes. I know that my grandm...
