Thanks for all the support - I got up the nerve to call the Neuro's office today and reschedule my next appt for something sooner. The girl was very nice and got me in tomorrow. I have been able to keep myself occupied when the nighttime symptoms are aggravated - my boss needed a side project done s...

Ok, been a couple weeks so here's my update. The upper body tremors have stopped. Legs are another story. I am going nuts. My PCP had put me on some Valium short term to get me through to the Neuro appt and that has been the only thing keeping me sane. But when I asked for a refill auth on it since ...

Well night one home from the hospital was bearable, but the dosages sent home were of course lower than under monitored care. So there's a call back coming to them once they open. Also the site of the spinal tap is in pain, which affects my lower back. All my research indicates that is typically a n...

UPDATE

<dr nick> Hey everybody! </dr nick> (Simpson's reference for those who don't get that...) Just got discharged from the hospital this evening. I went to the neuro yesterday morning and he had me admitted immediately following his examination. Following MRIs, X-rays and enough blood work to make the R...

Update - Saw the Dr. today - he's baffled. So he took me off the Mirapex and scheduled a consult with a neuro. That is Weds. I am supposed to call him tomorrow to let him know how I'm doing. He said he'd give me something if I am miserable. I can already tell I'm going to be. Oh well. Can only do wh...

I scheduled an appointment with my doctor for tomorrow morning - I am going to ask for a referral for a neuro consult. This wasn't just minor shaking of my hands - arms, legs, head, i felt like someone else was controlling everything and didn't know what they were doing. It's subsided quite a bit ri...

Tremors

This is a very bad day - I woke up with tremors, which I have been experiencing in the mornings, but they normal subside while in the shower and don't return. Today I am having trouble clicking the mouse on buttons, and typing is like moving a glacier. Has anyone else had tremors show up? This is no...

Yeah - Coming up this weekend. If I take the bedtime dose at 6pm (what had been 7) it'll keep symptoms from showing but they might appear in the early morning hours (unmedicated I never felt the cycle of relief till 6am). But if I wait till 7 (the new 7) I run the risk of symptoms appearing before t...

Daylight "Savings" Time

Funny - I don't feel like there's anything saved but I digress... How do you all handle the time change as dosing goes? I'm hesitant to switch my dosing time 1 hr all at once. Just curious how others approach it, or if it doesn't seem to matter. Oh - and I'm on Mirapex .25mg 2x a day (12:30pm and 7p...

Always been the painful kind - movement usually relieves (but not always) - so I voted A. My late monings-afternoons have been intense lately, a daytime does of Mirapex has not helped. Luckily there is a lot of room under my desk as my legs are usually outstretched and flexing. Nights have been fine...

Sorry to hear about your BP issues. I just went back into the doc Friday and had 110/70ish. I've always been a rock steady 120/80. Since starting the Mirapex I've noticed I'm a bit more lightheaded at times too.

My legs go nuts when I get angry. Afternoons especially - I walk the aisles at work a lot in the afternoon. I feel best when my boss goes out of town :P

Betty - I am so envious - I work in an architects office and we are still doomed to work at drafting tables though not a single drawing has been done with a pencil/pen since I've been there, and for quite some time before. Ergonomics aren't aesthetics so... The only saving grace is I can stand at my...
