I have had a weight gain with Mirapex, but only becasue I am over eating since taking this med. Not anywhere near 25 lbs in a day though! I didn't know that was possible! I had always been warned that Mirapex might cause a gambling problem but now they are saying there are all kinds of problems with...

Hi Carol, I haven't had any of those side effects...hopefully I don't as I drive for a living! I do community health care and live in the country too. I am becoming more tired, a combination of things are involved. I think my medication needs tweaking! I have never had a sleep study done...I think I...

My sleep is getting worse though, I am so tired of being tired...how many times have you heard that one!! Doctor's visit this we...

So I'm not the only one??? Yipeee! So glad to hear that! As you mention Anne, I am not an inherently bad tempered person so when I am, it really bothers me. As I read more and more here, I think that RLS is responsible for more than what I thought. I am being careful not to 'blame' RLS for all thing...

Mood Swings Anyone??

First I have to say that my fiancee is the world's most patient person alive. He has put up with me for 4 whole years without complaint. But, I find that my moods lately have been so up and down even I have trouble keeping up with them. I don't know whether it is med related, not enough sleep, RLS j...

What wonderful information! From what I am reading, I don't think I am suffering from augmentation. I do have a Dr.'s appt. next week and will see what he has to say. Probably I will have to take a wee bit more, but I really hate to do that..where does it end?? Maybe he will switch meds. He wasn't r...

Thanks again for the responses! It just feels so wonderful to 'talk' to people that know what I am going through! As I read somewhere here, every time I come here, I come away with new information. Last night was absolutely horrid. My dear hubby (tongue in cheek) forgot to pick up my RX and I had NO...

Thanks for the response. No I didn't post on the regular board as I thought that the question had probably been asked many times before! I really think Ishould do some more reading, as what I have heard about Requip isn't that great, but I am sure it has helped lots of people. Mirapex has been great...

Mirapex advice

I put this post here as I am sure that the main discussion board has seen the same question many times. I take Mirapex about 3-4 hours before bed. Reading different posts tell me that some people take it differently. I am on the .25 dose and I take 2 tablets. It was working wonderful, but it's start...

Hi Anne! Thanks for the response! My head was full after reading so much here but it's like I can't get enough...so many years of no one knowing what the heck I was talking about and then a site so full of information I had to take a break! My doc and I have discussed Requip but it's relatively new ...

too long with RLS

I just wanted to introduce myself as a long time sufferer of RLS but new to this site. I spent 1/2 a day reading everything. This seems to be an awesome place for info! I remember back to when I was 11 years old with my first instance of RLS. I am now 47 yrs. old and am really suffering. I only have...
