Zach, I'm glad you are in control. I'm a newcomer to this forum and a life long sufferer from RLS. I have tried every med know to treat RSL and still nothing really works. I don't know your history so you are right, I probably spoke out of line. My concern is several of your comments in this thread ...

Zach, please get some help from your Dr before you OD. You sound a lot like my sister who ended up drowning in her own vomit. Not a good way to go out. Drug addiction can be treated with honesty and a will to get better. Good luck, David

I have tried everything and nothing has worked except the Darvon and I still kick and switch myself to sleep each night. I'm going to give the patch unt...

The patch is called Neupro and contains Rotigotine, something new similar to requip. After 2 days of use no relief from RLS and side effects are acid reflux and indigestion.

Pro Patches??

Anyone tried the new "pro patches"? I finally got tired of the Darvon not working and asked my Dr. if I could try methadone. From what I can tell from this forum methadone seems to be the best choice for people who don't respond to requip, mirapex, neurontin, ect. I've tried them all. My Dr. who is ...

I'm with you. Dr.'s act like your some kind of dope addict if you ask for pain relievers. Nothing has helped my RLS except pain releivers and all I can get is a mild darvon. Releives some of the pain, but I still kick and switch myself to sleep each night.

tonic water

My rls got 10 times worse when I quit drinking. My drink of choice was gin and tonic. I thought it was the alcohol helping, but maybe it was the tonic.

Pain reliever question

I have sufferred all my life with RLS, have tried all the usual drugs(Requip, Mirapex, Sinemet, Neurotin, and a few others) with no relief. Finally my Dr. put me on Darvon and that helps more than anything else I've tried but I still have a lot of discomfort. I have seen where others in this forum h...
