Atavin

I've tried to find a discussion topic about Atavin and haven't seen one. I keep hearing from people on how relaxing this can be...although I know it is an addictive drug. Anyone tried this and has it helped at all?

True, I have noticed that more often than not, anti-depressants are working against me. However, I suffer from depression, I believe, as a result of RLS as well as two other diseases of my skin. Both skin problems are for the most part unnoticeable (sp) but it takes a lot of time taking care of it a...

My dad. He suffered with RLS since he was a child...although there wasn't a name or treatment for it to his knowledge. I think my RLS started when I was around 10. I asked my step-mother the other day if my dad still has RLS. I had to tell her what he use to do in his sleep. She said he doesn't have...

I have the same problem. Night or Day...never stops. My legs constantly want to move. I think of a habit as something you have grown so accustomed to that you don't realize that you are doing it. However, with my legs shaking, I notice it. I do it intentionally because if I don't, they would shake a...

Thanks Cornelia. I did some googling...it was very helpful. Now all I need is to convince my sister to go to the doctor!! You all have different examples of what your RLS feels like. I would say all of the above. Mine feels like lots of nerves just jumping around in my legs, the only way to make it ...

I think I will go for it and buy this Cal/Mag supplement. I have been trying various different anti-deppressants and muscle relaxers with no good results. I don't eat dairy products or most foods that have a significant amount of Calcium and have been looking for something to take. Thanks for the su...

I'd like to find out more about this Requip. I keep seeing posts about how well it is working for some. I am blocked from most things on the internet while I'm at work, and this is pretty much the only place I have access to internet right now. Therefore, I can't look up Requip online and see what i...

Maybe it will worth it to go to the neuro just to see if that is my problem. Guess I haven't been officially diagnosed...and this neuro visit will determine if I have RLS or something else. Good advice for my sister, I haven't had my doctor offer me one single sample. They would probably do that for...

I hope you who read this realize that I totally respect anyone with a sleeping disorder or RLS. I suffer from RLS myself. My sis and I just think of things on a more animated level not literally. When I say brick, I'm thinking of little birdies flying overhead like the cartoons. Honestly, I am tryin...

Yea, all teasing with her aside, we have talked about that...I've advised her to see a doctor about it, but she doesn't have medical insurance presently so she doesn't have a lot of options. I believe she pretty much sleeps on the couch now. I appreciate the advice. She's looking for a job that will...

Restless Head

Just something I think is funny...of course, my sister doesn't. She has problems when she sleeps; walking, talking, has even given her husband a black eye...but what cracks me up is that i always tease her that she needs to look into Restless Head Syndrome...she hits her head up and down on her pill...

Neverending

Hey guys. I'm Ali. After about 15 years suffering from this, I finally heard about RLS a few weeks ago. I went to my doctor and she said the treatment for RLS is a drug that is used to treat Hodgkins disease which is to strong for me so she prescribed Elavil 10mg once a day. After reading some comm...
