Hot feet and exhausted
Hey Sole this is Jan. I get hot feet, too. I'm a lot older than you--56. I've had RLs for about 20 years. I don't know how you younger people do it with young children. I have twins and a son and I don't think I could have managed like you do!! Anyway, next time I have a terrible night, I'm going to...

Jumpy
GOOD!!! Thanks Jumpy. As you can see, I sometimes misinterpret things! Even though I thought I stepped on your toes, it didn't change my opinion of you. I STILL think you're a great person, as I said in my email. I should have said that in my post. Peace to you, too.

From a believer
Sorry, I seem to have stepped on some toes. But, I still BELIEVE that God is in control, we just don't always get the answer we want. Sometimes, God has other plans for us, and I DO believe he actually He does "micromanage" people, as you put it, Jumpy. He actually cares for each individual. Busy gu...

test study insight
Hi My name is Jan and I've had RLS for approx 20 years. I'm on Mirapex which is a Parkinson's disease med. I take 1 mg. 2 x daily and it really helps along with 2 mg. Klonopin 1 x daily. I don't know if that is the med he/she was talking about, but you might ask. It really works for me. Good luck!

RLS and Pain
JumpyOwl This is Jan. What kind of pain do you experience? I have some pain. It's a kind of deep, deep ache that gets worse and worse if I'm not on the meds I'm on. Is that it? I also have trouble walking first thing in the morning until I'm up for awhile. And it hurts to turn over in bed. Jan

Seeking advice on meds
Hi Sole First of all, I'm not a doctor, nor an expert on medication, but I also have had RLS for about 20 years and go to an outstanding neorologist at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. I take 1 mg. of Mirapex 2 x daily and 2 mg. of Klonopin 2 x daily. This regimen of medication helps me right now. ...

This IS a FIERCE DISORDER!!!!!
Hi Dogeyed! I have had RLS for approx. 20 years, and I agree with everything you have said!!! Most people don't understand when you explain what RLS is--in fact they look downright bored when you explain what you have. I even had a co-worker (who I, in fact, supervised) tell me that she didn't care ...

Progressive
Hi My name is Jan and I just noticed your post. I have a few questions that might be helpful. I've had RLS for approx. 15 or 20 years (you lose count). Does walking seems to relieve your symptoms? Does your pain feel like a deep muscle ache? Do you have trouble sitting in a chair, riding in a car, s...
