5 Years!

WOW! Five years to the day since I joined this family ... Where has the time gone? "Happy Birthday" to all of us who joined the Board in the first few months in 2004; and to those who also helped make it a helpful, comforting and informative place to find help and compassion. The Board has...

"Hamish" was a late bloomer. Dont quote me on this but I think (stress Think) our cyclone season is October - March ... or could be November - April. He's the biggest to form off our Eastern Coast since "Larry" decimated Ingham, up north of us, three years ago. The speed at which...

As they say ... better to be prepared than to get caught out! Thank goodness ol "Hamish" hasn't caused any damage ... let alone been kind enough to cross the coast. He did a u-turn when the waters got cold down near the border and is passing us again but just as a Tropical Low. Finally we'...

Its right on our doorstep at the moment i.e. drive down the road and over the hill head straight out to sea and you'll run smack into it.

We haven't had much rain but the winds are another thing altogether.

I've got some supplies just in case ... you never know!

Prayer Request ... Cat5 Hurricane Comin

Could you all keep, not just me in your thoughts but everyone from the top of coastal Queensland, Australia to the NSW Border. Ol "Hamish" is now a Category 5 Cyclone (Hurricane). Still headed in our direction, but STILL taking the leisurely coastal sea scenic route. We're already getting ...

Ol "Hamish" is now a Category 5 Cyclone (Hurricane). Still headed in our direction. We're already getting heavy rain and the wind has picked up considerably. We'll within it's grasp by tomorrow morning Aussie time and then depending on it's lofty decisions, it could keep on goin south and ...

Hey Andy, Welcome ... sorry you had to find us. Good ol Amit-yada huh? I love the stuff and have been using it successfully as my brain's "off-switch" for around 4 years now. I'm at the extreme end of rls so technically Amit-yada shud send me loopy, but it doesn't, which has annoyed a few ...

)(#$%*@)#$(&% Yes i'm grumpy. Been using codeine since late 2004 ... I usually refer to it as Panadeine Forte. As for the Amityada ... no, it's not been linked to my grumpiness and is not likely to be either. For those of you who know me REALLY well, you know who Ms Hyde is. There are certain pe...

Still digesting information ... HOWEVER For all those on the ANTI-antidepressant (amityada in particular) bandwagon; here's a lil bit of scientifically proven information from my Sleep Specialist ... Amityada has LITTLE OR NO EFFECT ON RLS. Amityada has SOME OR A LOT OF EFFECT ON .... PLMD! I DO NOT...

Hey Betty :) Thanks for asking! Right now, i'm suffering from a MAJOR case of: ... Information Overload. It's gonna take me a while to process it all. Quickly on the RLS front ... no change in meds ... hence the sayin "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!". Don't worry though ... Tramal is in ...
