Re: Doctor Rant
Worried about her license, she says. Not worried about me, but her license. I'm sure she is most worried about herself and insurance and lawsuits should something bad happen while you are trying so many different drugs, but remember, she also has other patients she is helping who don't have a large...

wow, that's already two others with occasional wierd swallow things. I wonder how common it is in the non-RLS population. I've always had trouble swallowing pills It could be a minor acid reflux or maybe GERD. I don't have trouble swallowing pills but sometimes they get stuck in my throat, not goin...

Yep, the RLS was gone, but in an hour I was wide awake! I did fall back to sleep, but kept waking every 50 minutes or so. Within 3 more hours, the RLS was back, so I just got up and stayed up. My own personal theory on why we keep waking up even when not having RLS symptoms is because thats the pat...

Been a while for me. With all the snowstorms last month in this area, my sleep studies and appointments got postponed and rescheduled several times and I finally saw the neuro today to go over all the results. No sleep problems, no apnea, the cpap machine made no difference, not narcoleptic, I'm jus...

I haven't made the HD commitment at home yet, but at work I have a 30 inch Apple Cinema display. Took some getting used to as I found myself turning my head to view different areas of the display. And you can have more windows open without having to stack them. Would love to get one at home but can ...

Re: Peaceful Resistance
Oddly enough, with all the moving we do, many of us are overweight. Studies show that being overweight is more common to RLS than to the average person. Well I'm not overweight, if anything I'm underweight, at least that's how I look. I'm 6'3" and weigh about 180 lbs. give or take a few pounds...

Bumping an old topic here but I got to thinking about alcohol. I don't drink myself, but I remember that most of my relatives (aunt, uncles etc.) almost always had one or two after dinner drinks, and my dad used to be a big beer drinker. They complained of many ailments, but I don't remember anythin...
