Re: Areas and narcotics

I live in Germany. Here we have a special narcotic law and special narcotic prescriptions. We don't have something like 30 days prescription or the possibility to get a refill from the pharmacy. But we don't have a real limit how much a Doctor can prescribe. If you are a Doctor you can prescribe nar...

Re: Switching from Oxycodone to Hydromorphone ...

So this is my Hydromorphone story: I started Hydromorphone last week Monday night. So this is my 12th on HM now and I decided to go back on Oxycodone. The reasons: - Hydromorphone caused some kind of sleep addiction. I was sleeping 16 - 18 hours per day and I always wanted to sleep more and more. Ly...

Thank you =)

I would stay on this combination but with Oxycodone causing this red eyes it is just a no go.

Will report how the Hydro works.

Tomorrow my first full week at med school starts.

Re: Switching from Oxycodone to Hydromorphone ...

I am taking Opioids for 6 months now and never had something I could call high and I never really tried getting one. I am afraid of developing tolerance and loose the positive effects of the opioids. This week I had a very good sleep with the combination of Oxycodone + Tramadol. In the past Tramadol...

Re: Methadone, Mirapex tra la

That's scary.

I don't wanna continue trying different opioids. I just want something that works. I know. This is asking for a lot.

Re: Switching from Oxycodone to Hydromorphone ...

Ya, I also have some activating effects from the Opioids. I am taking the Antidepressent Valdoxan to fall asleep. Also Pramipexole calms me down but my Doctor wants me to withdraw because of augmentation. I was in the hospital once. There they suggested Oxycodone as a stand alone treatment. Back the...

Re: Zyprexa miracle

I had Zyprexa 3 times for a couple months up to over 1 1/2 year.

I was able to sleep with Zyprexa but in the end it caused horrible mood swings, depression and tolerance.

Re: Methadone, Mirapex tra la

Why are you guys taking Methadone when it causes all these problems? There are lots of other opioids you could use. For example Oxycodone, Hydromorphone, Morphine and in the U.S. Oxymorphone and Hydrocodone ... They say Methadone is maybe the strongest/best opioid for RLS because it also an NDMA-Rec...

Re: I guess that I will give up !

I take a small amout of opiod already, it helps better than anything else, however it's still not enough to sleep, just to be kept comfortable enough to not feel like I am going insane from the feelings and movements. It decreases it alot--about 50%. Which opioid are you taking? You could discuss w...

Switching from Oxycodone to Hydromorphone ...

Tomorrow or Monday I am switching from Oxycodone to Hydromorphone. I was on Oxycodne for period of 6 months but there have been some problems with these drugs. The positive aspects about Oxycodone were: - it 100% killed the urge to move the legs. - my pain tolerance dramatically increased but I stil...

Why isn't your doctor switching you to an opioid when you have all these massive problems with Gabapentin?

Sleep duration

Hello! I am interested in how long you people sleep, when you sleep. Right now I am trying some long acting formula of Pramipexol. As a consequence I am sleeping > 10 hours per night and also 2-3 hours during the day. This is bad and it is stealing a lof of time I don't have. So I am going back to s...

Re: My doc

The antidpressant I take (Agomelatin, sold under the name "Valdoxan" in Europe) is a weak antidepressent. The FDA didn't approve the drug in the U.S. because there opinion wast that it is not really working. Valdoxan has a unique receptor profile. It stimulates melatonin receptors and &quo...

Re: Mid 20 with severe RLS from Germany

Welcome QyX, I am curious about your antidepressant. I need to be on one, but I don't want to take anything that makes WED worse. Does yours make your symptoms worse or does it not seem to impact them? What a Godsend you are going to be to sufferers when you start practicing. If you decide to move ...
