Re: Requip to Horizant and dizziness

Just to confirm what Badnights said. Yes I weaned myself off ropinerole without much difficulty. My dosage was 5mg daily over 24 hours. I took 11 months to wean off....very slowly. Drop by .25 and stay at that for 2 or 3 weeks. Then drop by another .25. Sometimes I waited a month before dropping aga...

Re: Experience with Injectafer?

Of course. I hadn't thought it through properly about how your IV Infusion is working so well. Thank you

Re: Experience with Injectafer?

Holland, you say you take Kratom 720mg at 8pm and then again during the night. So approximately 3/4 gram at 8pm and again later, your total is only 1.5 grams. Is that all that you take? You feel that 1.5 grams helps your sleep and sees you through the night. That's excellent. I'm taking Kratom as 1 ...

Re: Emergency Room Nightmare

I googled as you suggested. What an awful place, it's pretty scary that people can be involuntarily committed into such an uncaring situation.

Re: What's Worked for Me

I note you sleeping with the help of gabapentin and I hope this continues to work for a long time.. I used to take ropinerole which is similar to pramipexole but after many years usage I augmented and spent a long time weaning off. Lyrica, a sister drug to gabapentin is one meds I take for my RLS bu...

Re: Energy Saving Products & Hacks

I've had a cordless vacuum cleaner for several years and love it. The old corded one is in the garage but if my corded cleaner died I'd be straight out for a new one, never mind the old one in the garage. However, with regard to the drill brushes to clean the bath it seems like work to me. Our bath ...

Re: Cold medicine

To be honest I don't use any. A little honey for the throat and paracaetamol. A hot drink is tea. If I'm really stuffed up I'll use a nasal inhaler from the supermarket. That's it. As an aside I read your first line as ...you'd got a lovely winter coat!! Gave me a laugh. Hope your cold doesn't last ...

Welcome to Crystal3777

Friday 17 January 2020 Welcome today to: Crystal3777 who has Rls ruining her life. The older she gets the worse it gets. Re: Magnesium pills

My RLS has been under better control since I came off the ropinerole. Whilst reducing I started to supplement with magnesium. Coincidence or not I will be continuing to take the magnesium.

Re: New member with a few questions

If I understand correctly you were taking 4mg Requip for about 5 years and have now been taking 8mg Requip for a further 5 years, as one single dose daily. 8mg is a very large dose. I weaned myself off 5mg Requip (which was taken in several doses over a 24 hour period) doing it extremely slowly (ove...

Re: Emergency Room Nightmare

To me it screams of neglect to let a patient suffer so.
To actually not replace the Tramadol screams of neglect.
