Jan, I am so happy for you. You deserve such a wonderful doctor. And if you have RA, what a great partner to know is on your side. Lyndarae got a good one finally and so do you. Wonder who is next to get a great doc that currently is struggling??? Hope it's someone soon.

I appreciate that you heard me. I realized when I read Lyn's post that there were some PMs that took place that not everyone was involved in, so no one was privy to all that I said or that was said to me. And, please, please, don't jump to any conclusions if you were one of the people the I sent a P...

Hi Julieboo, I think Becat's advice was spot on. If it is working, you are not augmenting (symptoms getting worse), getting tolerance (need more of the drug than you used to), and you're sleeping, it sounds good. You did mention it making you tired - if this is at night and you sleep - that's great!...

I'm on my way out out the house, but before I left I wanted to quickly say thank you to all of you. I had to giggle part of the way through reading the posts 'cus it sounded like Ann Appreciation Day. That wasn't what I was looking for, but it was nice to read. I'll write more later. Hope everyone h...

The pain is happily gone. I didn't figure it out for a few days, and by that time I had the chills, was vomiting, had a headache, and the shakes. It wasn't the Mirapex withdrawal, it was the Klonopin. By mistake, I stopped taking it when I started the methadone. I just looked at the bottle on the se...

I've thought about this for a couple of days, and while I don't want to make an issue of this, I do want to state my opinion. This groups is extremely open - we are friendly, offer lots of help and assistance, and will talk about most anything. And we do not have any 'rules' or regulations. But we d...

Nicola, my DH has celiac disease and we keep a GF house at all times. It certainly had not helped me. But I have heard other people say that it helped. In fact, many people have noted that eliminating certain foods does help. Just curious, was your RLS mild, moderate or severe? Do you know if it is ...

Kathy, I deliberately did not address this post to anyone as it was not intended your specifically or for anyone in particular for that matter. We have new people joining us all the time that are not familiar with message board etiquette. No offense was intended nor was it personal. I'm so sorry you...

Patricia, I can understand stopping all non-RLS meds, but what about something to help the RLS? I'm curious as to his thought process! Is he not sure that you have RLS? It must suck to be you at this moment in time  ! So sorry that you are going through all of this.

Yeah, I just finished reading it and was grateful that they included my experience at all - since the other people had shiny-happy Requip experiences  . At least she offered me as an example of someone it didn't help, so that it didn't look like everyone was helped by it. And, like you, I'm ju...

Ha! I bet if all of us got together we could start a pharmacy! I have oodles and oodles of things that didn't work. Thank goodness I have a prescription card with my insurance. Ah, Penguin, now I get it. I think you said your appointment wasn't until June. . .this is a neuro, isn't it? I don't usual...

Penguin, .75 is not much at all. Did your doctor tell you not to go above that or did you have problems with it? I wouldn't consider that a test of whether or not it worked unless you had other issues and had to stop taking it because of those. Please go look at http://www.rlshelp.org. There is good...

Jan, I've felt so badly for you - it has to have been so hard for you. And that applies to anyone else that is not being heard by his or her doctors, is in chronic pain, etc. No matter what the disorder, pain is pain - some may have more or worse than pain than others, but that doesn't mean that a l...
