Brandy, I believe that the parkinson's medications are among the medications used to treat PLMS... It is possible that you might find relief by increasing your Mirapex... Flo, This is a difficult one... We have a homedics vibrator chair ... and I have some hand held devices and they do help... temporarily... once I stopped the sensations were back ... I don't know, If you could use this for an extended period of time which would allow you to fall asleep with it on .....

My first post was recalling what I had read last July on the Xyrem website... now you know how recall can be maybe it was worded it is strongly suggested not to prescribe off label! When I was at the beginning of my RLS treatment search, last July, I was referred to a Rheumatologist who diagnosed fibro, and told me he had no experience with RLS. Xyrem was the medication he prescribed for the fibro. Maybe I should have tried it... but I was sticking to the Mayo Clinic Algorithm ...

RLS is wierd! to say the least... before medication, those long horrid nights when I didn't have the energy to move any more, I would turn the tv on mute and lay on the couch reading the captions... and yes I would not notice the RLS... until my mind would wander...
