Kirk, you mentioned the mattress. The Tempura mattresses are v. expensive, certainly here in UK, maybe £1,000 i.e. $2,000 upwards. I have ordered a memory foam mattress (and a topper for the spare bedroom) directly from the supplier. This supplier makes the foam for bed manufacturers. In the stores ...

Hi Kirk, yeah looks like this needs talked out into the open with your wife at a time when tempers can be held nicely. (or even if it means a 'scene'). I have been very lucky with my husband's attitude, but I am always aware that anyone's partner can have a moment when they get fed up with the rls'e...

What can I say.. I am such a pleb when it comes to music, love everything, (except jazz) I can't sing a note.. really bad sound, but can dance with the best of them. Really get carried away with Mavericks, Eagles, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Elvis (oc course, went to Gracelands a year ago - f...

Hi Dogeyed, yeah, lack of sleep upsets everything, so as well as the legs jumping, then there is the lip twitching.. see the picture. I NEVER used to be irritable, now I'm biting my tongue... a lot of the time! What you say about pain/discomfort is interesting, cos the other day I actually found mys...

Hi Dawn, I forgot to say that my main medication is requip, I take .5mg at lunchtime, .5 mg at around 6 pm and 1mg around 9pm. This works for me at the minute along with supplements.
Good luck, Betty

Hi, my sleep still isn't great, but much better than it used to be. I take magnesium for the burning, and it isn't as bad as it used to be, coincidence or not, I don't know. I also use the occasional 2mg diazepam to help sleep, if desperate. I found when rls was much worse than it is now, that a col...

Yes Ann, this sounds very possible. I think some people just have a 'stressed personality', or perhaps an 'over anxious personality'. Don't know if that is just how they are, or cos of rls/lack of sleep etc. I think I am the 'anxious personality', cos even tho I have a great life, a wonderful family...

Thanks everyone, I'd certainly go along with what you all say about stress!! Thing is... I'm the instigator of my own stress... if there is nothing to worry about.. I'll still find it.
Thanx again. Betty
