Hi MLV sorry you're here out of necessity, but welcome. I have found the Mayo Algorithm invaluable, print out a copy and take it to your doc and see if he will work with you using it. There is a link at the bottom of kbear's posts. Otherwise go to rlshelp.org and you will find it there. Good luck.

Don't want to sound cynical, but I reckon if rls could be cured, that Dr. B would have told us about it ?????

Cheers Tom, Only 2 more Mondays to go, then a public holiday, and then I start my 4 day week, with no Mondays. Today 'my lawyer' goes on maternity leave and from today, for 6 months, I will have a locum who seems OK. Work is constant, but with a good lawyer to work with, they can make or break the j...

Hey Tom, just gotta reply, even if just briefly, and say thanks.

I think the 'more of let it slide' is what I need.

Goodnight.

Thanks Tom. And Yes, our holiday was grand, switched off OK. Now back in the normal world it is hard to lower the pace but I am trying. A lot of it is mindset. It is only myself that sets these standards. It is easy to fall back into the pattern of thinking you should be all things to all people, No...

Hi Tom, I'm here. I'd never 'move on'. I have only just read your post in question, and yes, I completely got it also. I knew right away that it was all 'tongue in cheek'. Indeed I was on holiday, and have been back for a week, but have been doing a little forum reading, and even less posting. I had...

Naaahh... your not a baby, you are suffering and need help.

I suggest that you be up front with your doc and ask for help. Take the Mayo Algorithm with you.

I used to always have daily severe headaches and sometimes migraine. But not for many years now. Occasionally get spells of mild headachey days, not quite bad enough for a pain killer.

Make sure you are not dehydrated.

good luck

Hi Views, your theory is no way silly. Its exactly what I think (unless we are both silly)!!!!

I think we read into a post according to our own mood and our own self esteem at the time of reading.

A bit like 'we can hear - but are we listening??' - only different.

Tom, forgot to tell you where my 'handle' came from. Hmmm..... There is a big white rock situated on the coastline in a bay, near where I live and it is shaped rather like a polar bear. Very many years ago someone painted eyes, nose and mouth onto it, but this added a little character and has not ma...
