Hi Moraine, I am sorry you are suffering so much. Whether or not it is rls that you have, we can sympathise with your distress. I have rls 24/7 but have some control and relief with medications, not an option in your case now that you are pregnant. Congratulations on your pregnancy. Others with more...

Eliza, it's great to get away for a 'break'. I have seen these chairs advertised before in the media. I could see how relieving the tension on the back of the thighs may help rls symptoms cos I find lying on my 'front' is easier. Hmm... worth thinking about. I'd love to hear if anyone has found them...

Yeah... hmmmm.... orange/green. When I said I didn't 'do' a lot of green, I meant it's cos the colour doesn't do much for me... Having said that orange isn't particularly flattering on me either!!! Yeah, Susan, I suppose N.Ireland is traditionally thought of as orange... but quite honestly altho mos...

Hi Scarlett - I also use the thrift stores and pick up excellent bargains.

WAM - sorry, I don't do a lot of green, but I do use a lot of linen, which was our national industry - before it started being made in far east.

I should add that the reason the earrings are hanging from a chopstick is because I have just painted them with the pink nail polish and they are 'hanging out to dry'.

Making Do

I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself. I am going to a few functions over the next couple of months and wanted something new to wear. Smart ,not too dressy but more so that smart casual. One is the 50th birthday party of an ex work colleague of my husband and I will me meeting lots of people for th...

NicaNite I have noticed the same thing. If I am lying in bed, doing ok, and think about it (rls), more often than not.... bubble bubble.. slowly in the background it develops. I reasoned to myself that it was not that I consciously thought about the rls, it was that it (rls) had started to 'bubble i...

Yeah, we got our fried chicken, but definitely a no-no in the theatre. Shiner Bock ??? you've got me there... never heard of it, is it a drink. Just to digress slightly, my friend is having a 60 birthday, so family paid for a trip to London for two, staying in the Grosvenor Hotel, pretty upmarket, d...

I haven't tried the patch tho I have read about it, and would consider it if and when I need some sort of a change. At present I use the requip in pill form.

Glad it works for you.

Hi Rudver Just to slightly digress, I worked in Belgium in 1974 in Avenue Louise and loved the city. Hubby and I will be back this summer (he has never been) and I haven't seen it for 34 years. In those days I thought garlic was exotic and I ate escargot for the first time. This summer we fly into B...
