NicaNite I have noticed the same thing. If I am lying in bed, doing ok, and think about it (rls), more often than not.... bubble bubble.. slowly in the background it develops. I reasoned to myself that it was not that I consciously thought about the rls, it was that it (rls) had started to 'bubble i...

Yeah, we got our fried chicken, but definitely a no-no in the theatre. Shiner Bock ??? you've got me there... never heard of it, is it a drink. Just to digress slightly, my friend is having a 60 birthday, so family paid for a trip to London for two, staying in the Grosvenor Hotel, pretty upmarket, d...

I haven't tried the patch tho I have read about it, and would consider it if and when I need some sort of a change. At present I use the requip in pill form.

Glad it works for you.

Hi Rudver Just to slightly digress, I worked in Belgium in 1974 in Avenue Louise and loved the city. Hubby and I will be back this summer (he has never been) and I haven't seen it for 34 years. In those days I thought garlic was exotic and I ate escargot for the first time. This summer we fly into B...

Good luck with the neuro. My neuro admitted he was not experienced in rls and he talked with me using the Mayo Algorithm which I had printed off and gave him. He discharged me to my GP, and told my GP to work with me as I had researched it well and knew more than him (about rls), all learned from th...

Hi Scarlet, you could be writing my story. I've had this condition for over 30 years and it is now 24/7. I sit on my legs the same as you do, not a pretty sight at nearly 60 yrs old!! I stand at my desk sometimes in work. I feel my head nodding at 3pm. However I do not have pLMD. I have tried all th...

Hmm.. now if we start to count the old computer in the loft (kept just in case), the one on the garage shelf (just in case)... then there are the few old monitors kicking about the garage. As a matter of fact I think there is even a Spectrum Computer from about 25 years ago that only played games an...

You sound really technologically minded. We are thankful to have one of our sons handy, tho hubby isn't too bad. I just use the pc as opposed to keeping it running!! Yes, I don't know how we managed without google, rls site, and being able to order really brilliantly personalised greeting cards (for...

Moonlight, let's hope that this morning was a little 'dip' for you, and that you are now feeling better having met with your friend and been out and about. My friend's husband is bipolar, as is one of their sons. They are on regular medication and also have their good days and bad days. Life can fee...

Yup... this happened to me last night. Leaning against the wall, exhausted, had sleeping pill also, but rls was too strong. It took about an hour walking to subside the rls. I was bouncing off the doorframes. However, this does not happens so often, maybe once every couple of weeks. I still prefer t...
