The drug did wonders for my legs but the side effects are way too much a price to pay. I've had MS for 35 years and have taken many drugs on&off so its a fear issue but these side effects are on the list of people with parkinson at higher dose.

I started mirapex at 0.25 at bedtime and slept well fronm the first night but during the day I have light nausea, fell like I'm twice the weight, had and anxiety attack for the first time in years, trouble to urinate.

Do these symptoms go away after awhile?

I have many years of experience and if you find the right AD you will be reee. In my case it was effexor.

Well I sat down with my pharmacist who is a friend of mine and although mirapex has it faults and was told that its only temporary so I went for it as I've been trying to get of klonopin for 6 years and I'm going ahead. Started at 2.5 mgs and now down to 0.5.

I'm no doctor but I was on klonopin for years at 2.5 mgs and after 6 years I'm down to 0.5. Beleive me it's more addictive than many illegal drugs. Try mirapex or similar before anything else.

You should cut 1/4 every 3 months as you need time for the GABA receptors to be active again.
