Re: End of Line

I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said what I said. It wasn't what you needed to hear. I just thought that maybe if you didn't work, (getting fired helps your case) that you would find a way to get by and it wouldn't be so bad.

Re: End of Line

I got fired 2 years ago. I was 60. Some how I got social security disabiltiy. We sold everything and walked away from our house. We have enough for food and utilities. We moved into our 5th wheel. Then we found a house to rent for the same as living in the 5th wheel. We did that a little more than a...

I'm an artist too. I do oil paintings. I like to create other stuff too. I also sew, make quilts and embroidery. I wonder if there is any connection with WED ? Just a thought.

Re: Furious....and scared

We go through the same thing every month, trying to get our scripts. For me it's the methadone and my husband takes oxycodone. We were having to see the doc every 3 months, and finally they have extended it to 6 months. So we leave a note at the front desk, they call us, and we pick it up. Well last...

Re: blood clotts

How close are you to the states? I am really worried about your leg. If I were you, I would drive to the states and go to a hospital and stay until it starts to look better. I'm serious. Otherwise, when the dressing is wet, it needs to be changed. You can wrap around the leg so you don't need to use...

All you can do is what you can do. At least you are giving it a good try. Who knows, maybe it will turn out fine.

Re: Furious....and scared

It just doesn't seem right that we have to find ways to build up a stash. I've been lucky. My doctors through the years have always written for more than I use. Three a day, when I only use two. Then when you have to use the stash, it's nerve racking to try and build it up again. Sometimes for me it...

Re: Looking for help

To add to the list as stated above, muscle relaxants don't help either (usually). There are several meds that do help. They should start you on one. Some of us are beyond that and take a combo of two or three meds. I'll let the discussion board people tell you the meds that may help you.

Re: Terrible Day

I'm wondering what is end stage WED? Could it get any worse than it already is? I never thought in a million years that I could survive on so little sleep. For most of my life I slept 9 to 10 hours a night. It wasn't until I turned 50 that it started to change. Right now I'm in an "ok" per...

Re: Neupro Patch

I know exactly where you are coming from. It does sound like you need a drug holiday. But we all know that is hell going through that. Doctors can be such a pain, and harmful more than helpful at times. They just don't have a clue sometimes. Maybe you should try and find another one. I had to do tha...

Re: blood clotts

Well, with a separating retna, you go blind if it detaches and if it's not taken care of, and pain meds isn't what I mean. I had no idea. I guess the US is headed in that direction.
