Re: Nitrous Oxide
Definitely for short term anesthetic purposes ( laughing gas at the dentist). Life would probably be pretty interesting!! But I don't think it would be do good for long term use

Re: Mirapex/Augmentation
I just finished my withdrawals from stopping requip and dr B is also my dr. I used (and still use) a combination of tramadol, methadone, hydrocodone and oxycodone to manage symptoms. Just when I feel like I have the dosage figured out I get a "flare-up" and I have to increase meds. Then af...

Re: Surgery Needed....Now what??
Yes the opiate meds will help! But not the local anesthetic. Do you take opiates now for WE'D?

Have you ever noticed some nights
It feels like someone plugged you in? Just plugged you in to a constant source of the energy that causes your legs to COME ALIVE?? Like 85% of the time my legs are well controlled with a tramadol and opiate medication regimen. I am finally used to the side effects and I no longer nod off in public! ...

Re: How many times do you wake up?
As long my symptoms are well controlled I sleep very well. If I have wed symptoms they will wake me out of a deep sleep. I will either be completely as wakened or have very fitful sleep. Even though my symptoms are well controlled now I seem to fight sleep and will play on my phone til it falls on m...

Lunesta works well for me and it is not addictive and no tolerance. It's mild and no grogginess the next day.

Re: Mirapex aug - neurotin - requip - hell
Your story actually causes me to have a panic attack!! And to be extremely frustrated and angry by yet ANOTHER doctor who doesn't know sh-- from shinola!!! This sounds like someone who s going to work against you rather than for you so is it possible to get another dr? It is unrealistic to expect th...

Re: when is enough too much and that's ok?
Oh rthom I am really feeling for you. I had a suicide attempt due to depression 5 years ago and I am very grateful today to be alive. I am a pain in the butt for my children in many ways and have caused trauma to them with my diseases and disorders. Things have changed in 5 years and I can see that ...

Re: Is this pain WED related?
Maybe this question will help. Does moving relieve the ache and you do it to be more comfortable? Or do you feel absolutely compelled to move it regardless of pain level at the moment? When you have wed, you literally HAVE to move. It's not a matter of "well it feels more comfortable". I h...

Re: Oh goodness......now HIVES!!
Update: all side effects have gone away! I am on a minimal dose of tramadol 50-150 Mgs, hydrocodone 5 I think, and 5-10 Mgs methadone per 24 hours. It is working very well and everything was good until I had to stay up all night for work on Tuesday. Will take a minute to get back on track.
