Are their meds for rls that can be used as needed

Are their meds for rls that can be used as needed? I'm struggling with needing to go back on meds for my rls. I'm no stranger to antidepressant and I'm afraid to become reliant on yet another med.(I've explored coming of antidepressants to relive my rls) I'm borderline going crazy over this and feel...

Re: Are Carbs and sugar rls triggers?

I read somewhere that a gut infection can worsen rls and carbs can cause the bacteria to grow. I think the term is "Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth " I have no idea if this information is reliable but it makes me wonder. Does anyone know of this?

Re: Will excercise and weight reduction affect my RLS symptoms?

I had gastric sleeve surgery December 1 2014 I went from 339lbs to 193lbs and my rls has never been worse. I admit that there may be a couple new factors that has caused this worsening but I'm convinced the weight loss doesn't help rls.

Re: Kratom is working for me

Which strains are people finding helpful for rls and anxiety? I read that some trains have a stimulating effect like caffeine. I would think someone with rls should avoid these strains as caffeine can make rls worse. I'm thinking of trying kratom but don't really know where to start and figure this ...
