Re: Augmentation--and vision problems

`The reason for my question is because recently i've had problems with my vision fluctuating between fairly normal and blurry. It could be a number of things and i'm trying to rule out meds before i go to see the optomotrist, (don't want to have to go twice, or look like an idiot when they enquire a...

Re: Mirapex Generics

Wow thanks for sharing that.
Both my wife and i have found the same thing about generic vs other brands--sometimes they just don't work the same at all. We get the it's identical--your just mistaken scpeel.. It's nice to hear others are having similar experiences.

Augmentation--and vision problems

I was wondering what vision problems had to do with augmentation. Also i know what the symptoms of augmentation are (read it off here--thanks folks) but i don't understand the meaning of the word. ( Like i know how to make a car run but i don't really get it cause i've never seen one and don't know ...

Re: The tens units

When I tried it the WED symptoms kept on going even when the tens machine was in use. Actually I might have been using the tens machine and the WED symptoms would start. This is what i expected would happen--just wondered if the pain associated with it would lessen--tight crampy muscles. etc. Do you...

Re: rls-wed and drugs why now?

Thanks Corrie, that's certainly something to watch for. I should have said a few hours at the end of the day, anyway because they were a lot milder I was trying to be careful not to get all fired up--"wehew, I'm going to be cured"--just in case it didn't hold or quit improving. I wondered ...

Re: rls-wed and drugs why now?

You felt you had benefit with the increase in Requip dosage. I wonder when your symptoms kicked in, would that have been when your dose of Requip would have been wearing off. I wasn't sure if it was the requip or not, i just noticed a few times in the evening that my legs seemed quieter. I also wond...

rls-wed and drugs why now?

I had a day yesterday that might have been the first in my life that i remember with minimal symptoms. It was hard to figure because the only difference seemed to be an increase in the re-quip (2mg) Anyway i go to bed and awaken an hour and a half later with horrible symptoms. Can this be from bette...

The tens units

I'm looking for information from those having tried the tens machine--
Did it help the PLM and make the RLS a lot worse, etc.
I was told that sleepdancer may have some information as well.

Re: Newly diagnosed...already medicated

Hey good to hear from U. When I was first on Mirapex it was not used for rls just parkensons so drug plans wouldnot cove it and as in your case couldn't afford the $700+ a month it was going to cost. So my gp gave me trial sizes and had me apply for a section 8 (i think) that would request the pharm...
