Re: desiccated liver powder

They say digestion is the pathway to good health which makes sense since we get our nutrients there. I don't know the specifics of the science, but I do know that if I take too much oral iron that the RLS kicks in something fierce which I assume is related to digestion. Has anyone tried the magnesiu...

desiccated liver powder

this coupled with bone broth is like taking an extra iron pill which is helpful for me because if I take too many iron pills it impacts my digestion which kicks in the RLS. I've also heard that magnesium chloride with purified water heated and DMSO might be able to help. Will be trying that this wee...

hormones and RLS

I have brought up this topic before. I really think in my case there is a direct link with change of life and RLS. I've been trying to get off my hormone patches and I noticed a significant increase in the RLS when I do So I went back on them. It was 3 years before menopause when my RLS went into se...

where is everyone?

I noticed that the boards have been exceptionally quiet lately and I've not seen Ann in a while. Wondering what's going on.
I do see that Steve is holding the fort. thank you Steve!

Re: Ketamine and RLS

I did see that ketamine can be helpful for RLS so I made an initial appointment for a consult. this will be for major depression and NOT for RLS. Will keep you posted. also, antidepressants have not worked for me. Apparently the ketamine infusions are a lot more effective albeit a lot more expensive.

Ketamine and RLS

I have head and read nothing but miracle after miracle about ketamine infusions for major depression. This is a powerful drug used like a horse tranquilizer. and the FDA has not yet approved it for a treatment for depression, only for pain with surgery is my understanding. I'm curious to know if any...

Re: RLS, Depression and Anti-depressants

OK I found a very safe natural antidepressant that should be okay with anyone's RLS. l-methionine. This is an amino acid that produces natural sam e in the body. Sam e has been used for depression. However, I tried sam e over the counter and it activated my RLS. I also know someone with major depres...

Re: Restiffic

They seem to be implying that there is a connection between the feet and the legs. This is the first time I've heard of this. My RLS symptoms are in the back of the knee. I'm not sure how that can be related to the foot.

Re: Massager

I just posted on the restiffic which is a type of foot massager. To me this feels a bit stupid. I can see where it would work for mild RLS cases, but when your RLS is off the roof it's a little hard for me to believe that this could work. I agree with the others that any type of restriction activate...

Re: Is your DA causing augmentation?

I guess I'm one weird case. NONE of the dopamine antagonoists helped my RLS and Requip even made it worse. The others I got very ill on. Neupro wasn't effective after 3 nights.

Re: RLS, Depression and Anti-depressants

Well that was a rather dumb thing I did. There have been a variety of mushrooms in the yard, some of them did look poisonous. Not doing that again. You do weird things when you are desperate. I did go to the store and got a mushroom blend for immune support. Helps a lot with the allergies. Feet are ...
