Re: Suboxone mixed results

Thanks badnights. Good observation Leggo_my_legs. Going down to half a dose worked. I had some nausea. I had actually been trying to decrease my tolerance for medication by only taking it once a week for about 5 weeks. After another six days I took another half dose and it worked again. So now I nee...

Re: Augmentation - Delaying the Inevitable?

If you want to switch to something, I am not sure Kratom is the best choice. Kratom seems to work like an opioid which works in a similar way to a Dopamine Antagonist. I remember seeing that opioids and DAs worked in a similar way in one of the RLS presentations. To truly get a break I would suggest...

Re: Suboxone mixed results

Yes. That is my hope. I want to try to go as long as I can before trying it again. I have been taking it for a little over three months. I had to try different ways of taking it to see what worked best. At first I threw up because I took a pill two days in a row. After that I threw up sometimes in t...

Re: Power Plate

For instructions on how to do an exercise, how to do stretching or how to do a particular position on the power plate, I definitely prefer a video.

Suboxone mixed results

I switched to suboxone 2mg. It has seemed to help the day I take it and the next day. It has a very long half life. But I have to wait a few days before taking it again. I am that way with pretty much any medication -- I get used to them very quickly. I have gradually been having more and more of a ...

Re: fresh coconut

I wish I could get access to fresh coconut milk where I live. I have tried the canned coconut milk and it has been helpful. But I have gotten to the point where I can no longer tolerate the taste. I have a strong aversion to it; even the better quality coconut milks are a big struggle to drink. The ...

Re: Experimental treatment for Parkinson's disease - stimulating spinal cord

Previously, Parkinson's was primarily treated in the brain with the deep brain stimulation as you mentioned. This new treatment focuses on the spinal cord. It may be that once signals get to the spinal cord, that some of the differences between different diseases becomes less relevant. It would also...

Experimental treatment for Parkinson's disease - stimulating spinal cord

Some new research on Parkinson's disease using experimental treatment using Parkinson's disease uses electrical stimulation to the spinal cord. I found a video that showed some successful treatment in mice. I saw another one a few weeks ago that showed successful treatment in humans but I couldn't f...

Re: Sourcing kratom- organic if possible / how to dose

Kratom did not work for me. It made me agitated. I have gone through augmentation and that may be part of the problem. Morphine does the same thing to me.

Re: Power Plate

Say, I'm not sure what web site you went to but I went to http://www.powerplate.com and I didn't have to put in an email address to see any videos.
A pop-up did come up about classes. But you can close it or it times out and disappears after a little while.

Settings to use are 40 or 50 vibrations per second and high amplitude.

Re: Power Plate

Standing on it is only one way to use it. You can use it for working out, stretching or massage. I primarily use it for massage. I lay on my hips or quads or butt on the power plate to massage those parts; I hold the handle and also have a platform next to me to put my hand or elbow on to support me...

Re: Power Plate

I use the hand held massager too sometimes on my calf muscles -- and it usually seems to help. We used to own a gym where we had a couple of power plates -- otherwise I would likely have never known about them. I think one area of possible research would be to understand what muscles are affected an...

Power Plate

I want to tell people about this in hopes that it might be helpful. I have been caught in a situation where I was taking hydromorphene -- it wasn't working out for me. I previously had a home version of the power plate -- but its helpfulness was limited. I recently purchased a commercial model of th...
