I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year
and thank everyone for the wonderful and much appreciated support
that everyone has given me.

I hope that our rls behaves and allows us to eat SLEEP and be merry :-)

Am glad to say have had several good nights and some bearable ones too. my blood tests showed everything as ok apart from the ferritin at 23 so am on iron for a while so will see how i get on , havent taken any codeine for several nights and don't really want to go onto anything stronger >>>>yet

ha well i thought the other night was the worst ever......I take that back as last night was worse , had extreme electric shocks going up my legs and in my arms weird thing was it was mainly my left side and I just couldn't stay still ended up with tripling my codeine and eventually got relief. been to gp and she said my ferritin is 24 which is too low... I asked about what id found on .nhs inform about different tests ,she told me that these tests are used of the rls is secondary to another condition. She took blood and is checking ferritin, magnesium, b12, thyroid and kidney function, so...

my rls is taking its toll on me. its much worse , the pain is reducing me to tears added to the trapped nerve pain which is 24/7. today my muscles are really painful when i move and when i touch my legs, i dont understand why this is happening apart from me tensing my muscles up and jerking about to...

codeine for around 2yrs works well take at night

diazepam
temazepam both for mh illness but use for rls to knock maself out
when the rls is too much

sleepdancer how come you only get three uses out of your electrodes.......do you mean the pads....i use mine for months......i was told to keep them in the fridge , it seems to keep them sticky. i dont get any relief from rls with the tens but i do for my trapped nerve, thats what the tens was issue...
