Natural Supplements

Hi there, I have been taking for some considerable time the supplements of Glucosomine, Evening Primrose Oil and Cod Liver Oil. Does anyone know if any of these supplements would have a bad effect on rls or burning feet/legs, as what control I had over the rls does not seem as good as it was. The bu...

Me too, I think part of it might be that psychologically we try not to move so as not to disturb our partner, and that of course makes it worse. Tho still don't want to go to spare bedroom!!

Hi there, I'm in the UK also. I think I saw in a thread not to use Dove soap, don't know why. But I did it, and used Dove cos it was all I had at the time. I thought it might have helped tho it could be placebo effect. Felt a bit daft doing it and didn't mention to hubby, who got a bit of a shock an...

Hi there, try hot shower, then cold, cold spray on legs and feet. Followed by moisturisor, or aloe vera get, ( I've jsut started this gel). A couple of diazepam 2mg helps, tho my doc is only just coming around to this idea. I also take Requip 2mg at 2 hours before bedtime. Also magnesium, folic acid...

Hi everyone, I got a reply on another thread which said that burning feet was a completely different thing from rls, and not related at all. Does anyone have any views on this?
I got some aloe vera gel today and will try it on my next burning episode. I also use magnesium 300 mg nightly.

Thanks Dana, will do a search. I never thought of it being a completely different thing. I have seen others mention the symptom in different threads and always thought it was a part of the rls. Managed to track down aloe vera gel today, and so have it on hand for the next 'episode'. Thanks again. Be...

Just when you thought it might be OK !!!

Hi folks, not quite sure what's happening. Have been on 2 mg requip for several months. I also take simvastatin to lower cholesterol. Take magnewsum, Vit b and folic acid. I have codeine and diazepam 2mg for emergencies. Think that a bit of requip 'rebound' may be setting in. It's all I can think it...
