you might wish to go to www.rlshelp.org and print off the long list of meds used to treat rls, and take it with you,so your Dr will have all the options listed for her. pain meds are also listed as a help for rls. All tho most Drs do not like to give pain meds.

dixie, please do not be surprised if your Dr knows very little about rls. please read and educate yourself as much as possible before going to the Dr, because most of us find that many Drs know very little about rls. know all the meds used to treat rls and the proper dose for rls. Save your money on the RLS Cure Books, and get your rls info for free off the web. There are so many great rls web sites just full of very informative and helpful information. Read as much as you can about rls, because the more you know and understand rls the better treatment you can find for yourse...

if you go to www.rlshelp.org you will find a very long listing of all types of things people have tried to help their rls and for some it helped, but usually for only short periods of time, but it does make for intersting reading
