Hi David, I failed 2 da s and my doctor switched me to norco, which
worked, but I get 24 7 symptoms so I had to switch to around the clock
therapy, an opiate is hard to beat for treating night time symptoms.

i would stop and request a switch to something else,
requip gave me a few reasons to quit after day 1,
i tried to stick it,lasted 3 weeks, things got worse
at one point i went 72hrs with 0 sleep, then i gave up

jumping in here late, don't know how many different opiates (pain killers) you have tried my experiance is they will all have a somewhat different effect/after effect so if you have not tried several, i would, you may find one that works.
