Hi Sue, Excellent information! Thank you for offering it. Yes, diet has been discussed, on occasion. You can find some of the threads in the Non-Pharm forum. I'm on the Atkins Diet too. Over all, I feel much better when I eliminate sugar and flour from my diet. It's just like poison to my system. Do...

Bump, bump, bump. Just wanted to bump this thread back to the top, for all the newbies.

Ok, I've edited this post twice now because I can't seem to put two words together today.

Re: Trazadol

I just recently spoke to my docotr about my restless legs, after a few years of suffering (including through a pregnancy) and he prescribed Trazadol. There seem to be a lot of side effect and even some long term issues that can arise. Has anyone used it? Hi Erin, Welcome to the group! Yes, I was pr...

Missing Posts

Hey all, You know how, when you log on, the little bells to the left of the forums are colored orange when there is a new post and colored white when they are all read? Well, I noticed I've been missing out on a ton of posts because the bell is white. Is it just my machine or does anyone else have t...

Thanks Clara. I wonder if the shorter half life mean a lesser chance of addiction. That was my doctor's biggest concern. From what I've read about it, it's addictive...but maybe less addictive than Klonopin. So no Klonopin OTC, huh? :-)

Restoril.....My Doctor's a Goof Ball! :-)

My Dr. prescribed Restoril. 30 mgs before bed. I've been taking it for the past four nights and am pleased to report I've had four nights of GREAT sleep. I say she's a goof ball because she was so insistant about getting me off Klonopin but then turned around and prescribed me another benzodiazapine...

Clara, It's wonderful that your appt. went so well. I've been taking Restoril for four nights and have had four nights of good sleep. I hope you have the same success. Perhaps you'll even get to go to bed early tonight, if you're not working! Can't wait to hear from you tomorrow. Great news indeed!

Hi Sue, You didn't private message me. The post you wrote on foot neuropathy is in the "Foot Neuropathy" thread, in the General Forum. I've copied your post below. Hi Sole, Yes, I think I am in the beginning stages of developing peripheral neuropathy. I'm fairly sure of this because my dad suffers w...

Hi Sue. Welcome and thank you for sharing your story with us. Not many people can understand how relieved we are, even when we just get SOME sleep. You're in good company. I'd like to suggest that you NOT completely rule out the possibility of RLS. If I read your post correctly, you said you don't t...

Welcome Sunkitten! I'm sorry you had to find yourself here but this is certainly a great place to be, under the circumstances. I've had RLS since I was 19. Wan't diagnosed until 3 years ago, or so. I was prescribed Klonopin for anxiety. The first night I took it, I was amazed at the effect it had on...
