Nice response, Ann!

The reason I made a short version of the original work is to whet the appetite of the doctors so they would take the trouble to look up the original. I was told several times by varios physicians that "you should see my desk, there are many pages I should be reading and I am not " (due to lack of ti...

Dear RLS sufferer

aka Walking after Midnight! Keep in mind that the painkillers you had been taken also help RLS. Every time you change your medication (add or substract) will affect you. In this case it was not clonazepam but rather getting off the painkillers which gave you a more severe RLS . I took one pill of a ...

Hi, Becat!

I am puzzled by your medication. First of all, it may be doxepin hydrochloride. Is it? Then the dose is very low, 1 mg? The syrup contains 10 mg/ml I believe. So 2 drops (100 microliters) may contain 1 mg. The mechanism of action of SINEQUAN (doxepin HCl) is not definitely known. It is not a central...

Hi, Corrie!

I am saddened to realize that you have refractory RLS. Pallidotomy! yet. Do they discuss the loss of other functions due to that procedure??? I wonder what the scientific justification was for that drastic solution? I am still plodding through my newest research project "RLS and mental health". This...

Hi, Doctor:

I will check with Tom today and let you know. I know about the safeguards about skipping questions. Sometimes (rarely) one has to make up an answer and clarify it at the end (Remarks).

Hi, Becat!

I am so sorry that I cannot post more often. Both mentally and physically I am kept busy by the "establishment" (local I hope) which is hell-bent in trying to prove that I am mentally ill. The head honcho is a fork-tonged character it took me awhile to figure out. It is the medications I have to be ...

Thank you

Thank you ladies, you make me feel very humble. You are very dear to me. Made further steps in my quiet battle on the field of mental health. I supplied blood for analysis of valproic acid again and also gycolisation of hemoglobin (trying to convince them I am not diabetic). This is not a battle of ...
