I made it home at 2:00 am, took the meds (double dose) but it was still around 3:30 before I could sleep. I always carry some in my purse but I changed purses that morning and forgot to transfer. This is a really good reminder not to be stupid in the future. But like Views, the mind doesn't always w...

Late night

I'm sitting here at work at 12:45 am and I came in at 7:00. So I am going on 18 hours here. I work for an electric coop and we had a major storm come through today. Part of my job is to stay here and answer the phone when people call in an outage. The work isn't hard (except for the angry callers) b...

My daughter that just got married did a study abroard in Ireland during college. It's a place I have always dreamed of visiting. Some of my very distant relatives came from there. They were Dougherty's (now Dority's).

That's what I thought. They have it all together but I feel they are looking at the wrong area to help. We will wait and see!

Stay out of it??!! I would have loved to have the groom's mother or stepmother help out! There is a fine line between "helping" and "being a pain" though. So you are from N. Ireland?

I really hope that the meds will continue to work for you and that they don't make anything else worse. I don't take anything for the fibro as most of the time I can function okay. Right now I am just really run down from the wedding and some other things. It gets harder and harder to bounce back! U...

[quote I tackle food with an enthusiasm obviously beyond that which is required and is sufficient.] I love that line!! Makes my over-eating sound almost respectable! I wish I had the energy like you have found. I am so glad you enjoyed your golf! I also am usually a positive person. Or maybe I am ju...

The wedding was wonderful and I had three fantastic friends helping me with all the extra "stuff" that went along with it. With that said, I haven't been that stressed, that tired in ages. And I felt it in the WED. BAD, BAD nights and am now having symptoms during the afternoon. I don't kn...

TranquilMed

Anyone heard of this? Apparently is it some type of light/heat therapy for WED. I received an email from the company and at least it was well-written. He says he also has WED and makes no claim to a cure (yet). I have emailed him back and he really does sound sincere. Just wanted to see if anyone el...

Reading through all this just underlines the fact that for most of us, WED is not all we deal with. (BTW, I notice the use of WED instead of RLS--thanks!) Do other disorders have so many "sister" problems? Besides lack of sleep, I see sleep apnea, thyroid problems, fibro, weight gain, depr...

I understand. My daughter is getting married on August 6, outside in 100+ degree weather. Legs have been going bonkers! Ah, well. Such is life.

Stress, are you eating right, no caffeine? Watch what your day is like, both on the stress level and what you eat and drink. What changes have there been?
