Re: Medical Marijuana

Hi. I am going to one of the mm friendly states next week and wondering if you have advice on edibles that would help me sleep. The reason I'm interested in edibles is I have read they last the longest and I could eat one an hour or so before bed and sleep through the night. I'm not interested in ge...

Thanks for your replies.
Mark, I would like to hear how it goes with you as my 1st experience was the same as yours. I am glad it worked for you and I hope it continues!

Erratic results with Gabapentin

I started taking Gabapentin again after having had an unsuccessful 1st time experience. My dosage is very small, from 100-300 mg at night to arrest the symptoms so I can sleep. The 1st night I tried it , it took away my symptoms almost immediately. The next night it seemed to trigger my symptoms wit...

Re: 42 and RLS worse than ever

Hi click4it. I think it is possible that you had RLS many nights before this but the Klonopin allowed you to sleep through it. I say this because I had been taking Ambien to sleep fairly regularly for years. I had stopped a few weeks before RLS hit me hard, every night. I started taking it again and...

Re: RLS friendly drug for major anxiety

I suffer from PTSD as well. I was the victim of strong arm robbery a year ago. What helped me the most with that was EMDR. At first I thought it sounded ridiculous and not worth considering. A friend convinced me to give it a try and I am so grateful to my friend and the pscychologist I went to. Jus...

Re: New member Hello! And Questions

I live in South Florida and agree with you 100% about how backwards our state is. Have you tried a neurologist recommended on the RLS Foundation's website? I plan to go to a recommended neurologist listed in Hollywood, FL next month when I get back from visiting my son in Ohio. I tried a neurologist...

Re: Another New Member

Good morning. Thank you for the good advice. I just checked on the foundations physician referral list again and found a number of doctors available that I could get to. I checked this list when I 1st joined and do not remember having all these choices. Perhaps it's been updated or perhaps my memory...

Re: Another New Member

Thank you for your response. It solidifies some thoughts I had. Yes, I think as far as RLS I may know more then the neurologist at this point and I do not feel he is a doctor that would be open to being educated. I will get my results in 2 weeks and see what the tests show. I will listen to what he ...

Re: Another New Member

I'm really confused and a bit crazy right now never knowing from night to night if i will sleep. It is effecting me a lot. I forgot to turn off the burner on the stove yesterday and am very emotional and depressed right now. I thought I had this under control by knowing that if all else fails at aro...

Re: Another New Member

I am going to a see a Neurologist next Wednesday. From my reading I am thinking I have Neuropathy with RLS secondary. I have been to my PCP and she says I have symptoms of both but she admits she is not an expert in this field. Much of the time I have a feeling that the back of my legs and calves ar...

Re: If you want to support medical marijuana in the US

I just signed the petition, but I think I'll need to move to another state as my state is governed by some of the least progressive people in the US In the meantime, if by chance I was to go by another route does anyone know the type of strain that works best on RLS? I'm sure not all types are creat...

Re: Another New Member

Hi "ViewsAskew" Thanks for your response. I have been paying close attention to my symptoms and now believe I have Neuopathy & RLS. Everday I experience an electrical type feeling which can also be crawly. It usually disappears late afternoon and comes back again in the evening. HOWEVE...

Re: First time seeing a neurologist

Hi. I am very new to this but I can tell you I have the same RLS symptoms during the day (especially when sitting) as I do at night. I often feel like I have over exercised one or both legs in the morning when I wake up. They seem to be tired. Sounds weird but it's how they feel.

Re: Kratom is working for me

This is a very interesting and hopeful thread for me as new person. I have a question if someone wouldn't mind answering:
I'm assuming you order the powder form. If so what do you mix it with. If not is there a different form you use?
Thank you for your help.
