I don't think leg cramps and plantar. I get both but there doesn't seem to be reasoning to connect the 2. I used to blame everything on RLS but through the years i've been diagnosed with alot of other things too. Like burning feet = Polyneuropathy diagnosed with a nerve conduction study. Leg crampin...

I have just one piece of advice.
a sleep study ASAP.
On top of RLS my sleep study shows severe (deadly) drop in oxygen during REM.
I bought a oxygen concentrator off of eBay cause my insurance doesn't cover it.It only cost me $400 , brand new in the box.
I could have died.

brandy , yes it's true we've all been there. Where are you with your treatment ? We have to be pushy people at times. Push and push and want it yesterday! Lynne, i love your letter thing you do. How neat it is to get a letter or card for nothing other than i'm thinking of you..very cool. Here's what...

Good luck on your journey vinton, RLS by itself is bad enough and then to have MS on top is over the top. If you've been off of the Klonopin you may not need as much for a therapeutic dose. I do try to keep my dosage the same but only as long as I can sleep. I have 2 back up's before the Klonopin in...

I agree with ViewsAskew on a couple of issues. Mirapex knocked me out , this was totally unexpected (and dangerous) for me anyway because it worked so fast and so hard. The biggest problem i with it was it was very short acting for me. I took it on the way to bed it was so fast. 3 hours later i woul...

vinton,
if Klonopin was working so well why go off of it? I'm not a Dr but i've been on it over 20 years.
I take 2mg unless i have a flare up..I'm allowed to take 3mg's.

I know MS is different but IMHO my suggestion is find a med that makes happy and stick with it.

I didn't have any problem with AMbien but i was only on it a month with the Klonopin and Perc's (YIKES!) this was what my primary put me on til i saw Neuro. Now Wellbutrin made me suicidal, no kidding i was a mess. If you knew me you would know how serious that was, it was very bad for me. I'm not d...

this is what i do if i go out. My meds make me sleepy and the one way to get my meds in is to take them early then take a nap, at least the RLS shouldn't act up. I've also taken them with me then just take them at a certain time. I usually don't like to drive when i do that though. I don't take Niqu...

OMG mrj, i wish i had read this earlier! I have white areas on my brain too. During a bad RLS episode i had a severe headache for months, the Dr finally ordered a MRI. The results were several white areas on the brain. The next year my Dr ordered another and it showed more. No answer yet as to why. I...

hi Emily, have you had a sleep study yet? Here's the thing. Along with my severe RLS they saw that my oxygen levels drop to a critical low during REM. Now i'm on oxygen while i sleep and my legs feel less tired. I'm not saying that is your problem i just think we can't always blame everything on the...

I can't explain why this combo works for me only that most of it was by accident that i found out through the years. I would ...
