I have Dr B's book, there are little pieces of paper sticking out of it marking certain pages, it is marked with asterisks * all over the place, highlighted in spots. The book and the Mayo Clinic Algorithm are such important pieces of information. I have an ordinary manilla folder, in it is a copy o...

Its excellent that you have been getting better sleep when wearing the CPAP. I know nothing about this condition but can imagine how this would have been disturbing your sleep. But you've certainly had a bit of a shock to hear that you aren't trying to breathe for yourself at night. I've read before...

Its wonderful that you have made some progress. I understand that you don't want always to have to get up for an hour every night and hopefully with further progress in your iron and medication regime this will improve. I still get up every night, usually for a couple of hours, and am resigned to th...

I am very glad to see you posting today, and that you are feeling a little better. Hopefully you will get to speak with your doctor very soon and get the codeine refilled. My understanding is that medication for depression takes a few weeks before you start to feel better and I hope you and your doc...

Beth, I am so sad to read your post, you are in such a bad spot at the moment. The previous posters have given such good advice and there is little I can add in the way of advice with regard to medications. But you must get relief, and you must get some sleep. You are so depressed at present that it...

I use otc Senekot regularly, say alternate nights. Probably could do with using it every night. Plus the usual fruit and veg, as much as poss. Porridge every morning, and drinking lots of water. I never drink soda, but have a constant drink available, of usually plain tap water, or with just a hint ...

Hi Juls, I am in the UK so can't comment on US costs but have seen comments where some sufferers have been unable to get a certain medication because of the high cost. Here in UK, it is somewhat different, at present each item on a prescription has a charge of £3. If you have many medications it can...

Its always great to hear of someone who is finding relief from their symptoms.

I mentioned earlier in this thread that I had tried this oil (twice) without success but am always happy to hear what works for someone else. If anything at all gives relief - its happy days.
