My doctor would prescribe codeine in larger doses if I asked, he knows he can trust me, and is willing to help in any way he can.

However, do you think larger doses may work, and what about the addiction/habit forming aspects?

Any advice would be appreciated.

It seems to be getting worse for me, in my arms when I go to bed and start to drift off. It wakes me up.

Distemper meds? Maybe you should ask the vet, the poor dog seems awfully agitated.

Probably won't help, but certainly give it a try.

Does the dog show any signs of behavioural disorders?

Actually, I wouldn't advise anyone to go into large doses of Codeine regularly, it can create more problems re addiction/withdrawal and tachyphylaxis. Do you see parkinsons in animals? I'm not sure, never seen/read about it, but it must happen, probably in equal proportions. We had a dog that used to fidget a lot.

It's been specific to my arms of late, when trying to get to sleep. I don't know if this is an obscurity or a progression, or a result of the meds.

Just wondering, does anyone here experience the sensations of RLS in their arms? The thing is, I get RLS in my legs when sitting in the evening, however, when I go to bed, the RLS sensations go to my arms, like the feeling of electricity in them and having to move them. Yeah that Solian is NOT helping.. Any kind of antagonist be it dopamine or opiod would drive an RLS patient nuts.. Have you ever been able to discuss using opiates? Because right now it is no good to be taking both a dopamine agonist and antagonist. I would think the antagonist at best would cancel...
