Can you explain this 'Teaser'

3 men go into a restaurant for a meal. They pay £5 each to the waiter = £15. The waiter takes the money to the chef. The chef knows the diners and tells the waiter to give £5 back to the diners. The waiter cannot be bothered to work out the figures to refund each diner, so he gives them back £1 each...

Thankyou, I see now what happens. (If I had been patient it would have become clear once the messages had been opened by the recipient).

So the bottom line is - a sent message sits in the Outbox till recipient opens it...... then it transfers itself to the Sentbox.

Private Messaging query

Hi folks I know that to some folks I am going to sound here like I am really stupid, but can I ask a question about our private messaging system. I am totally not technically minded. Recently I replied to a private message and my reply was in my Sentbox. I later sent a further response and my second...

sleep

I am fed up with sleeping for 2 hours, working at the computer for 2 hours, and then getting another 2 hours sleep, even with the use of Ambien. So last night I did a b..a...d thing. I have diazepam 2mg. So I took 5 making 10mg. And got 7 hours apart from a bathroom visit. OK, so I never make a habi...

With regard to your doc who has closed up shop - I don't know how things work in the US, but is it not possible to obtain a photocopy of your medical notes which would state your medication and the reason it was prescribed, and take this with you to a new doc (together with a copy of the Mayo Algori...

Hi Mark, sorry your doc has not been cooperative with you and wish you well in your search for a new one. Its such a pity he would not take heed of the algorithm. Good luck with the neurologist.

Yes Ann, you are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Trying to be fair to the lady who refunded you, but also it is only right that the fraudulent cards are investigated. Sometimes I think that folk who are manning phones, i.e. call centres, have a 'tick box' mentality, if something doesn't fit t...

I only started having problems when my ropinerole was provided in the 2 different doses, and obviously what I said to the receptionist/what she heard/what explanation she passed on to the doc, ended up like chinese whispers. If my own doc had not been on hols there wouldn't have been a problem, or a...

difficulty getting meds !! why we need a stash

Two weeks ago I telephoned my GP practice to get my month's supply of medication which includes 2 different dosages of Ropinerole as agreed with my doc. This is because of symptoms 24/7 and the fact that the 1mg pill does not cut easily. So I get some 1mg pills and some .5mg pills. The .5mg pills ha...

I haven't tried lyrica tho my doc did recently mention it as an option in particular with regard to the burning sensation in my leg. However at present ultram seems to help with the burning.

There are others who have used lyrica and no doubt will be along soon and will be able to advise.

I take requip (ropinerole) and my legs would feel heavy and achy, don't know if this could be labelled as pain. However, I used to have severe burning on the soles of my feet, now its not my feet but the length of my leg. I find the tramadol/ultram which I use to supplement the requip for rls sympto...

Zach First of all I was wondering if you were to have a photocopy of some relevant sections of this book, to use with a new doc. Then I thought, the Mayo Algorithm would serve the same purpose. This took me on to thinking of Dr B. What about an email to him, his response and advice, hopefully confir...
