Did you always need 3-4 hours of sleep a night or is it due to RLS that your sleep time was reduced?

headaches and dry eyes
Hi,
I get headaches at the base of my scull and am not sure if it is due to lack of sleep or due to dry eyes. Has anyone else experienced this
side effect of RLS?.

I'm on Horizant right now (gabapentin) and it controls the symptoms, but I do not get enough sleep, so I do not know if it is
the right medication for me.

Thank you for replying Steve. Michael Haltman does not live in NYC anymore (no idea where he is). I felt very unsettled by the fact
that I got such severe symptoms right away. Hope that meds will work for me too.

mom wants to know if rls ever goes away
Hi, I got rls recently and am on a high dose of anti-depressants and anti-psychotic meds because I'm bipolar. The rls may have been triggered by those meds or anything else. My mother believes that if I stop those meds, the rls will go away. Tried telling her that once you got rls, it stays with you...

Re: single folks
I'm bipolar so I'm on a lot of meds that cause or worsen rls. I took iron and it caused major constipation, so my neurologist had me stop the iron intake. I'm on Horizant and it seems to help with the symptoms and a bit with sleep. I take 900 mg usually, and if I can not fall asleep I take 1200 mg. ...

HI, I've had rls for 2 months only and am having trunk movements. I read that the movements start in the legs and slowly progress to the other parts of the body over years. Is it normal to have the symptoms go to the trunk at the beginning of the rls. Also I'm in NYC, is there a support group in the...
