This is so true--yet those same would tell you the'd understand if a person couldn't perform under those same conditions---if they're talking about an unacquainted person. And likely be really empathetic about it. It's hard to figure it out sometimes.

Re: new diagnosis child

Just a note--i do believe that in my case intense rocking was a symptom of the rls--I spent alot of time in the corner on my knees because of it. I was not a willful kid so i would have given in to the punishments and stopped the behavior, (rocking) if i could have. I remember having to rock hard an...

Re: Ferritin Level

Bonnie Don't know if this helps but i also take clonazapam. I take it to get to sleep, as it does nothing to keep people asleep--thus your problem i bet. Anyway, i do keep it on hand and use it for those times when night after night you can't fall asleep, but definitely need a better idea to keep my...

RLS/WED onset times and daylight, vs circadian rhythms

I was trying to figure out if the onset (or increase) and conversely the easing up of the rls nightly follows patterns for-mostly surrounding the environmental influences (like darkness) or something more personal like your circadian rhythm. Was thinking about it for sleep reasons, like if it's alwa...

Re: upper body symptoms with RLS/WED

That's proof to me of how important this forum is, I would never have even considered following that up, as i'm just "tired of dealing with it" on a medical level. I don't want my life to revolve around it and sometimes is seems it has to.
thanks for adding that important tidbit.

Rls and low oxygen in the blood

Does anyone have experiences with their rls getting set off strongly when their oxygen levels are low? It seems if my blood oxygen levels are low or if my asthma is acting up badly it feels like my rls is having hysterics. Also similarly, when i'm around chemicals that i'm having a strong reaction t...

Re: upper body symptoms with RLS/WED

I have upperbody symptoms as well and my left arm is far worse than my right, (maybe from a previous injury weakening it) Any way it feels pretty much the same here except that in my legs it's more intense and i have it on the bottom of my feet but not at all in the hands it seems.. I don't get it. ...

I to understand and did at the time. I appreciate and agree with your intention and my response was to question how (if any ) we can help guide our loved ones to be able to take that approach and help with their healing.
thanks

Re: Live life to the full

We are going through a similar circumstance here, my wifes' family (sister in law) was found to have oral cancer and something else (can't remember--brain shut off at cancer), but they are too late--just keeping her comfortable. The brother is a broken man as she never hardly left the house and his ...

Re: Augmentation

Something to ponder, I was given clonidine to help witht he effects of the withdrawl (it's supposed to clear the receptors quickly, i think).
Also my requip level is prescribed up to 3 mg and i'm on 2.
just info--good luck
