Ok, I see I need to edit my post and add the sleep aids.

My doctor just changed me from Requip to Mirapex. I am taking .5 also. He has me taking it 3x/day and I am starting to skip 1 of my doses because I am not having the symptoms. I think this is a better and stronger drug.

I was taking Requip 3x's/day and Neurontin 2x's/day. Nuerontin never did anything for my RLS. (that I know of anyway)

The Neurontin is for backpain. Edit; if you have aches and pains Neurontin is good because it doesn't upset your stomach..I have GERD.

I don't know anyone with RLS that just has RLS either. That's like a really good point. Things that make you go, "Hmmmm".

When I got my papers with Myoclonus on it I was confused so I typed in that with RLS and couldn't find anything specific so I typed in Ekbom and the parasite thing came up and so then I really started looking.

So there is an Ekbom Syndrome and a Willis-Ekbom Syndrome? (and then in some cases interchangable)

That's confusing but I now understand why my Rhuematology office has to code it as MYOCLONUS (RLS) type with my Insurance company.

UPDATE:

I did end up needing to go off the Requip and now I am taking Mirapex.

ANOTHER UPDATE: I don't need the Mirapex as often as the Requip...is that normal? Is Mirapex a better drug?
