thank you my friends, awhile ago they did away with the major decongetive ingredient in Niquil, it's one of the best things for part my nightly cocktail. now my mouth isn't real dry in the morning. but i've never had problems with Niquil. Now i do think the Benadryl and the Theraflu nighttime or Tyl...

Hi everyone, i've read some of your posts. It hurts my heart to see some of you still suffering. re; Klonopin I take all of mine(2-3 mg's) at bedtime with no day time sleepyness. Weird situation going on right now and i'm not complaining just venting. The allergies hit me so hard for the past 3 week...

I'm praying for you Nadia. You poor girl. I too have had most of the symptoms you've had. If you've learned nothing new today the best and most important thing in my opinion is not everything is RLS related. Thinking it is is very dangerous. I would hint for the Dr to begin a low dose of thyroid med...

Wow, i'm so sorry to hear that. This may be a coincidence but during my next to the last problem with RLS my headaches were so awful 24/7 so my primary ordered a MRI and it showed several white areas. The radiologist gave 5 possible causes and one was MS. My primary sent me to neuro and she said if ...

Well, i guess if i were to inherit a disease from my parents i'm very thankful for not getting the life threatening ones like Huntington's. There's a 50% chance if only one parent has it for each child. A terrible terrible way to go. I took care of 3 during my career. I am blessed. ((looking at the ...

Theres some controversy on this med but Deseryl in addition to my normal meds got me through my last flare up. It made my arms and legs very very heavy. It also made me very sleepy even during the day so as soon as i could i took myself off and was fine after that. Just talking here, not advising. H...

My RLS doc said it also depends on your set biological clock that gets established very early on. I finally had to get my Dr to write a letter saying i could only work between 6a - 9p. This worked very well for me. So really it's 2 different things to consider. Your bio clock and coordination of you...

Corrie, During one of my flare ups the RLS Dr suggested that to me too. Having been on my meds for so long and knowing going off all meds makes me worse i refused. Just recently she was the guest speaker at a meeting and i told her so. She got offended when i asked her if she could go back to medica...

yeah you probably could take the bus but i did that and ended in a place i had never seen before!
So not being able to drive and being so confused from meds and lack of sleep should do it IMHO. Not to mention the severe headaches that come along with lack of sleep.

Hi Mark, yes, i've been on Klonopin for at least 23+ years. I'm still at 2mg's. I've gone off of it a few times replacing it with sub's for a break. It was not a good idea for me cause my RLS/ PLMD got worse and worse. I think i've never gotten too used to the Klonopin, i think we go through these s...

chickory, I think you deserve a medal.
Going off all meds just agrevates the RLS so much. Been there done that.

Maybe try another drug in addition to your Klonopin for a week or so til your symptoms calm down. I have to do that every now and then anyway,

good luck!

I have bought meds from MedicineMexico. I was afraid at 1st for the quality but all of the meds came factory sealed, individually packaged and the expiration date was fine. I was really really angry that I had to send away to get the meds at a cheap price when the company's were all big name drug co...

Hi everyone, I don't know if this helps but I worked for the Gov't almost 30 years before i retired.(va hosp) I was friends with some of the social workers for a long time and they always say SSI will almost automatically deny you 2 times before excepting your disability. I'm sure some don't get it ...
