Re: 5 years with RLS and now pregnant
It would be well worth getting the book Steve mentions. If nothing else, you can show it to your medical care providers and it will illustrate how serious you are about this condition. I would also second Beth's suggestions and reaffirm that you CAN do it. It might be worth emailing Dr Buchfuhrer to...

Interesting ... now that I think about it, that is true for me too.

Re: Ropinerole withdrawal, oxycodone, & LDN
You have been through a lot recently, Beth, and that might also be affecting your sleep. If I had access to 'medical marijuana' I would give it a go, approaching with some caution if unsure of strain, given its capacity to induce/exacerbate depression if the THC is high and the CDB low. I read recen...

Dreams are free! And can be uplifting! Goals enable us - even when we don't meet them. I really hope you meet yours tonight and you are sleeping soundly while I type. Ironically, I have been on rls drugs since about 2004 also but for me pramipexole worked so well that I refused to face up to the fac...

Re: Infusion Update
Maybe that's why the pregabalin doesn't work so well for me any more - I have reduced my dose of OxyContin right down to just one 5mg tablet - so the sweet spot of opiate and pregabalin isn't there ... I think you are far more advanced in the learning process. I tried taking about 3-4g of kratom las...

Re: Hello from TeriShelly
Although I would like to distance myself from any conduct that is not strictly lawful, I would point out that an individual known well to the current poster, who resides in another country, quite close to the UK, where kratom may not be legal (the individual is not keen to be advised catagorically a...

Re: Infusion Update
Am keeping fingers crossed for you. How much kratom do you take? I am finding the opposite of you - it helps with the urge to move (which is quite subdued for me at the moment) but I am getting very little sleep was wondering if a higher dose would help with that.

Re: Hello from TeriShelly
So sorry that you have this miserable condition TeriShelly. You are definitely in the right place and seem to have picked up a lot of information in your year of 'lurking'. You already seem to know more than your doctor! I have recently started taking kratom and really like the fact that it can be t...

Re: Ropinerole withdrawal, oxycodone, & LDN
Every night is like that for me at the moment. I have practically no symptoms for the first part of the night but lie wide awake listening to audiobooks and doing puzzles (which used to be a surefire way for me to get to sleep). About 3.30 to 4.00 pm I might drift off briefly but mild symptoms start...

Yes the gazelle comment also made me laugh but with a degree of rueful recognition. I too perform the leaps - in a non-gazelle manner - from time to time.

Re: Effectiveness of Gabapentin/Neurontin Over Time
I laughed so loud at the pink lady apple comment that husband wanted to know why and he also roared with laughter. Well done for following through on pink impulse - I would love to be called funky. Also for making the comment at your surgery. It was p*** poor of them. After my second child was born,...

Go Polar Bear! I LOVE the idea of pink/purple. I hope you are delighted with the results.
I had surge of adrenaline myself reading your experiences earlier in the day. How bloody dare they do that to you - mess you around and waste your time. Life is difficult enough with a condition like this ...
