Momo, I just realised I maybe sounded a bit abrupt in my last post.

Just wanted to say that I tried to cope with 3 - 4 hours sleep, and full time work, and eventually it all catches up. Take care and seek help with the sleeping.

2 1/2 hours sleep, not good enough. We can't do anything properly without enough sleep.

Hi Nadia, hope you got caught up on some sleep. Anxiety attack..... I empathise so completely, I have always been of an anxious personality (tho no-one really would have known) but recently it has become a problem. I have always worked full time, and now have gone down to 4 days. And they are a bit ...

Hi Yellman, I live in the UK. My doc was unfamiliar with rls. I took the Mayo Algorithm with me and he took heed of it. He is very willing to work with me. I was referred to a neuro consultant who said he knew very little about it, and just told me and gp to work using the mayo algorithm. An agreeab...

I hope you find some sleep soon, good luck with doc. What about taking the mayo algorithm with you. Docs seem to take heed of it.

Hey Ed, don't be sorry!! We can't all like the same books.
Bridges over Madison County - Maybe it takes a middle aged woman to 'get' the emotions !!! I wouldn't reckon it was a book for a guy.

I can't stand chick flick books.

And I also like Tom Clancy stuff.....

Another book I just absolutely loved was 'Bridges Over Madison County' by Robert James Waller. Not a very long book. And as the main characters are middle aged, perhaps you need to be of a certain age, to appreciate the emotions. Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep were the leads in the movie. The movie...

A great book. 'Not Without My daughter' by Betty Mahmoody.

I read this about 10 years ago and have always remembered it. This is a true story. There is also a movie with Sally Field. The movie was fine but I felt didn't get into the mind of the character like the book.

Hi and welcome, I find if I can get to it quickly enough, say when watching a movie at home, that if I lie on the couch on my tummy, knees bent and feet in the air, it can buy a little time, till the movie is over and I go and do something mobile. When travelling in a car as a back seat passenger I ...

Yes, we all have to cut the obvious stress as much as we can.

I am in the process of doing this myself, just the act of being pro active I think is beneficial.

Best wishes
